Imperial Marine

Saw this as a kid while playing SW: Battlefront II. A class on Star Destroyers called "Imperial Marines". Was wondering if this could be an acceptable class of TK's. Considering I am going to be in the USMC as well, I found this quite interesting.

It's pretty much just a TK with a pauldron. (true, they carry extra weapons in the game, good luck hiding 4 TDs and a minimag about your person...)

 

Though it's not an approved costume, you could very easily do a regular TK, and wear the pauldron at informal events.

Also, (Remember I'm new here) where does the title Attache come from? And what do the Ribbons stand for?

Attaché is something we have to help bring the TK's of our garrison closer to FISD. Like a FISD ambassador if you will. But it's also just as much a two way thing, to help bringing the garrisons thoughs on FISD to the staff so we know what's good and what needs improvement.

I have a pauldron in black, exactly for the purpose of re-creating the HWT look, but without the pack.

it looks cool to have a BFG and a pauldron, makes the lineup look more varied!

Again, avid BF2 players recognize this, and considering I will be joining the Corps soon, I was interested in this, essentially it is just a TK with a smooth, orange pauldron, a single ammo pack, ANH armor, and an E-11 blaster. New class of TK's? Perhaps

I love my HWT, but the pack gets kinda heavy after wearing it for 3 straight hours..

I played Star Wars Galaxies for a long time on Chilastra server and I remember the leader of our guild wore an Imperial marine set of armor in game that looked more like the Snow Troopers but with colored armor instead of white. It looked pretty slick.

The last photo is of the Marine actually being sold in stores which I never saw personally. I think this would be a cool costume but don't know if it would ever be approved for 501st?? Thanks for looking.

That's not a new class of TK, its a sandtrooper without dirt. We've worked hard on getting rid of those...

Now now, if you want to get picky, an HWT is a Sandie without dirt.

 

These guys are Sandies without dirt and without backpacks....

 

 

He could always loose the ammo pouches and be TK WITH A PAULDRON! (he's popular)
