  1. Thanks for your support, guys! Thanks for the email, and I'm glad TrooperBay is reliable! I'm sure his website makes the smaller parts of the suit less of a headache. I might just scrap a speaker system and reassemble it in the helmet, I'm looking to do an all-internal helmet, wires aren't too comfortable on the body. Thanks all! Jimmy
  2. Hello all, I'm back from a few years of absence due to lack of money, joining the Marines, getting deployed etc. In light of the new movie my focus as a fan has now been set on slowly building a set of armor. I want to go piece by piece over time (starting with the helmet, of course). Now that I have money and time, I can start a build. I also have a few questions: -Does anyone know how to contact the manufacturer of ATA? He sells very accurate stunt helmets for a reasonable price. -Is TrooperBay a good source of trooping supplies? I haven't seen any reviews for the site and I don't want to lose any money. -What is the best speaker system for an internal build? I might end up making two helmets: One for the 501st (no guts) and one for trooping and more of a novelty (fans, speakers, mics, bells, whistles). Any and all input is welcome and will help get me started! Thanks, Jimmy
  3. Its funny to read this. I live in Kentucky and the only restriction is you can't be drunk and walk around with a gun. I think I've even seen photos of American troops with legitimate guns before (AK-47s, M-16s, Pistols). America is a funny place.
  4. I had this same problem when a fellow employee at Beef-O-Bray's said that my friend Matt (Chunkaholic on the FISD) was a furry. The only reason I didn't go ape-shoot was because I was on the clock.
  5. Beautiful bucket! I'll be using this thread for my ATA helmet for sure when I get it! Nice job
  6. Bump. BUMP BUMPBUMPBUMPBUMP. An Admin should consider sticky-ing this topic.
  7. Okay. Te helmet is not problem, I'm planning on owning both buckets anyways.
  8. Thanks Locitus! I was curious about that.
  9. That seems fair I'm gonna go with the TM then. Patience is key I guess.
  10. Ah. I was just wondering. The CRLs said something about a "Swoop" on the bells. I wa wondering if the ATA bells were an example.
  11. Hello! I saw a picture of the shoulder bells made by ATA Works, are those Hero specific bells? I was curious because of the specific "swoops" on the bells that were needed for Centurion status as a Hero. (Because my armor is going to be Hero) Thanks! Jimmy
  12. I have the cash is the thing. I heard Gino makes a handsome Hero helmet as well, I just don't know if theyre still around?
  13. I just want a Hero kit haha. My actual suit of armor is going to be ATA considering it's low price. Also, I dont have materials to mod a Stunt and turn it into a Hero.
  14. Hello! I am looking for a decent Hero helmet kit to start off my new set of armor. Who sells a decent Hero kit? Unfortunatley there was an error when I tried to reach Paul/TM. Thanks! Jimmy
  15. Does the Hyperfirm E-11 come with a folding stock? Or is it stuck on the gun?
  16. Thanks! I'm not so great with metal working myself...
  17. Hello, I've been wondering where a Centurion-Grade E-11 could be sold. I've noticed that alot of kits look accurate, but need modifications to be Centurion-Grade. Is there a seller out there who makes fully accurate E-11s or am I on my own? I dont have the time/resources to scratch build either. Thanks, Jimmy
  18. Hello, For my TK I was going to build standard armor w/o any other accessories for official 501st appearances, but I was also going to buy a shoulder pauldron for sporting events at my school, EKU, whose colors are Maroon, White and Grey/Silver. Is there a maker out there with custom color pauldrons? Or should I make my own? Thanks, Jimmy
  19. I'll check it out! Ive learned so much in the past week its crazy
  20. Haha. I meant ROTJ Thermal dets as in the spherical one in the actual movie . And Yeah, the THX think was linked. Again, in BF2 they have the random letters before the four digits
  21. Its whatever you want it to be. In Battlefront the computer players had codes like"QU-1265, BG-3748" and so on. Maybe Lucas knows something we dont know
  22. Yeah. Maybe TK was short for Take? Haha or an homage to THX 1138. Trooper Korps seems to be the general acception
