senna1rossi[TK]
for you noobs oot there looking for "quick fix" ways to finish your TK build, make sure you don't "cheap" oot with the accessories either. don't make the same naive mistakes i've made over the months. use FISD as a great reference source to scour out EXACT items you want, and don't waste money as i did. just pay that little extra and know that, at the end, you will have more quality, and as importantly, ACCURATE item. here's a comparison between an evilBay purchsed holster and one from a quality fan made item! what a difference, eh?! i know not ALL TK related items from eAy are bad, but do yourself a favor and study and compare here first. here are at least two quality makers: Darman---------- TK Bondservnt--------- "God is in the details." -Mies van der Rohe http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/sennapanzer/photo3.jpg Edited January 18, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed

ObiHahn[TK]
...make sure you don't "cheap" oot with the accessories either. Sorry to say, but doesn't that apply to your Hasbro blaster as well? IMHO carrying toy blaster conversions is just as much of a mistake as having a bad holster or Elvis boots. TK bondservnt[501st]
I don't see how this thread should be a sticky. most people who want accuracy already know the details of threads like this one. there are in fact several threads on holster accuracy: --------- Edited January 18, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed

That's just my point: Pre-FISD - Costly, wastefuly mistakes Post-FISD - Knowledged decision making w/ "0" mistakes and regret As they say, "knowledge is power." (e.g., after getting feedback here on FISD, peeps should have second thoughts ordering a Cushman DLT-19)
Darth Hilarious
I don't see how this thread should be a sticky. most people who want accuracy already know the details of threads like this one. there are in fact several threads on holster accuracy: I was more just meaning as a heads-up for n00bs. One can never put too much emphasis on the difference between finding a good source and buying the first thing you see on eBay. There's sticky threads of that type about armour, I figured soft parts deserved the same. Perhaps a vetted maker's list would be handy? TK bondservnt[501st]
in the academy bernard and I are listed. it's really all good product sold in the for sale area. some sellers are not as interested in accuracy, even on this board. some are fanatics! from armor to blasters to boots and neckseals, it's all a journey in product comparisons!
