ODD Question. The sound an E-11 makes

Alright it may seem an odd question, but how would you spell the sound an E-11 makes, e.g. KABOOM.

It's for a portrait i'm about to sketch out for. Graphic novel/ comic book style on canvas.

Suggestions on a postcard please or just possibly a reply.

I think once when I was young I remember seeing Harrison Ford saying "bang" to indicate when he "fired" his blaster.

 

I think "pow" is the closest word. Part of the sound was created by tapping on a wire barrier along side a freeway, so there is a little vibration & fade in/out to the sound. If you compare the original vs. SE editions, you can hear that they mixed more heavily the sound of an actual firearm (sounds like a large caliber pistol) to the mix, making it sound more like a real life gun and is lower in frequency.

 

I've seen thwapp used too, but this just doesn't look as sinister on printed form, same with splatt or frwapp.

Whenever I am drawing troopers firing the E-11 I always use something like PTOW!! or KTOW!!

I always thought it sounded kinda like TCHUNG! TCHUNG! (not to be confused with the smaller blaster sound that is more like TCHUU! TCHUU!)

Everything else seems a bit week, I even bought a SW Clone Wars comic to see what that had,

It had BDOW BDOW or just plain DOW DOW.
