  1. I use some ca glue in certain key spots.
  2. Just be careful when you do it. One thing is to lightly heat them up the other is to completely melt them and destroy the lenses.
  3. I screwed up some lenses I had a while back where I scratched them up a bit. I took a lighter to them and rubbed them with my thumb and all of the scratches came out.
  4. I just use standard patio screen. I got a huge roll for like 5 bucks. I always add two layers. It may not be screen accurate, but it really helps so that the kiddies don't see your face on troops. You can glue it on with hot glue or ca or tape. It's up to you.
  5. I'm using the default layout and they're showing up. Looks like something is going on with the new one.
  6. Same thing is wrong on my side. Started yesterday in the afternoon. In the morning it was fine.
  7. I always use sprays. I take a piece of aluminum foil and wrap it around a cylindrical object like the spray can itself. I squish it down so it has a bit of strength and spray into there. Use what I need and when I'm done, throw it out. Easy cleanup.
  8. Are you painting those or are those decals? Pandatrooper has a thread in the tutorial section with accurate stripe templates if you feel like painting. If you don't, you can always order some decals.
  9. No problem. Here you go. You can see the three rivets I used to mount the ammo belt box to the belt. Then there's two snaps which hook onto the ab plate. -------- Here's the detail on the ab plate with the snaps. ------------
  10. I attached my gf's belt box to her belt using rivets. I found that with the snaps they tend to pop off if you like to tighten the belt a lot. I added snaps to the belt, however, to keep it nice and centered on the ab plate. If you need pictures I can take some later and show you.
  11. For my ANH Satin for vocoder and gloss for everything else.
  12. I used Satin for my frown and vocoder and gloss for ear details. On my last bucket I used semi for the vocoder and it looked alright. Definitely looks better with satin.
  13. Holy moly. Happy birthday, bro! Super excited knowing that my armor is somewhere in that pile!
  14. We had a girl from Alabama come with one of these http://www.froggtoggs.com/?cooling/details/CP100 things and it was pretty awesome. Just add water and it stays cold the entire day.
  15. I used water cooling when marching at Star Wars Weekends this year. It consisted of a wet towel placed directly on top of my head. Worked pretty well.
  16. Any idea of when the notification issue is going to be resolved?
  17. Not bad. May have to buy some of those off you when I get rolling on my kit. That bucket looks extremely creepy in those pics, btw.
  18. I've seen that most bigger guys go with RT-Mod buckets.
  19. Confirmed! Vader's scream confirmed. http://artsbeat.blog...rn-of-the-jedi/
  20. :headphone:
  21. I wasn't referring to the threading on the screws. I was more referring to the actual size of them. I had to redo the ears on two of my buckets and when I had to put the screws back in it was a PITA because a few of them were too short.
