1. I usually go home for lunch since I work nearby. I have to get out of the building at least for an hour a day or else I'm might lose it. And unless I bring my lunch, my only option here would be to eat from the wheel 'o' death.
2. I recently fell in love with Hot Pocket Subs. Those things are fan-friggin-tastic!
3. I don't care what PETA says, KFC popcorn chicken is delicious. And for $4, you can't beat an ultimate snaker sandwich combo. I am stuffed. So what are you guys eating for lunch? (I'm not on drugs, I'm just bored)
4. I personally don't dig Jackass, but it's funny to see guys you know do these things. Oh, on a side note: the TD that rode the bull hurt his "boys." He told me he was walking like a duck for about a week.
5. I just spoke to the guy and after this he rode a mechanical bull in his armor again and now his armor is starting to crack in the butt plate and his belt (front & back). As much torture as this guy has put on his armor, it is really a testiment to the torture an FX kit can take! Here's 2 videos. He's sucessfully recruited our GML to join him on this ride:
6. Ooooh yeah... I umm... I just work here.
7. Not really, but it might not be a bad idea to have one...
8. I've seen blue ray players for as low as $500. The lesser PS3 is $500, doesn't come with wi-fi, smaller HD, and unless rumors that they're working to correct this, no HDMI output. Personally, until MGS4 or Resident Evil 5 come out in '07 or '08, I don't see any point in getting one for my gaming preferences.
9. A) Hyperdyne's aren't that easy to come buy directly from Hyperdyne Labs. They haven't been taking orders in a while now. You can find a used one from time to time on the Legion boards. Buying a launch PS3? Do they even have an decent titles that are coming out on launch? For $600, they can keep the damn thing, not to mention the Japanese are getting it for about $100 less than we are. I feel bad for Europe. It's going to be like 500 & 600 euros. Sony's smoking crack. </rant>
10. You can order DPW on the web as well, but it's way over priced.
11. That's what I use now... hence my looking for alternatives,
12. Good question. I troop down in Florida, so I definately need something that keeps cool.
13. Currently, I'm using Under Armour for my under suit. I know a lot of people use dive skins, but what other alternatives are people using? Also, I know many people use "generic" Under Armour, what kind, what's it cost, where did you get it from, and how does it hold up? It's not going to be long before I have to replace mine.
14. Also, a quick way to add this to a web page or a forum signature that accepts HTML is by copying and pasting the quoted code below: <a href="http://www.whitearmor.net/"><img src="http://www.whitearmor.net/uploads/wan_sig.gif" border="0"></a> If you're going to add it to a phpBB forum, such as the Legion forum, use the following code:
15. I have button snaps on elastic holding mine up. My friend makes wrestling belts, so he came up with a system that works out really well, though I'm not sure how well it's going to help you if you don't have a button press: 1. Elastic goes from the arc that connects the chest & back plate. Plastic Welder actually hold it on oddly enough. 2. At the end of that piece of elastic, the male end of a button snap was attached. 3. After getting a test fitting of where the bell should go, took a piece of ABS and put the female button snap through it. Plastic welded that inside the shoulder bell. 4. Added another female button snap lower on the shoulder bell on a piece of ABS and stick on with plastic welder. 5. Added another female button snap this time on the bicep, again on a piece of ABS and stuck with plastic welder. 6. Took a piece of elastic and put several mail button snaps on it so I could adjust the height of the bicep. Even with this method, I still get a fair amount of armor bites, but not nearly as bad as when the bicep was too low. Not sure if this was helpful, but that's how I did it.
16. Nope, he was fine! He's pretty lanky, so he gets around it in like nobody's business.
17. After a troop, one of Tampa Bay Squad's Dirty Boys decided to pull a Jackass style stunt. The videos don't do it justice!
18. HAR HAR! No, he actually doesn't make armor anymore, his molds were destroyed. A friend of mine had a set of his shins and thighs (I believe) and he does great work. I'm not that friggin' large! All I'm saying is I don't look so much like a bobble head as some of the people out there.

DVD's

I, umm, have had a copy of the original trilogy on DVD for quite some time... I don't know where it came from, it kind of, uh, showed up. Yeah, that's it. I'm waiting until next year's full series set to come out to drop more money and see how badly they can further ruin my childhood memories. Maybe a dance number in the Death Star hanger?
20. Because I wanted the flexibiltity to grow of shrink in my armor, and I fear commitment, I went with velcro on the back of everything. I actually have velcro on the from and back of my forearms, works out pretty wel as long as you trim the velcro very well. As for the biceps, I had to shim those, along with my forearms. I've not got "huge guns," but at 6' and 200ish lbs, my arms aren't small. I fear they'll only get bigger as I'm just starting to work out again.
21. On the FX kit, the front of the thighs have that raised lip. Just over lap those (on the left leg, the left piece over the right; on the right leg, the right piece over the left). If you're comfortable with glueing the back as well, you can do so, how ever I suggest several test fittings before you commit to the glueing. I used Industrial Velcro for the back; makes it easy to adjust and get on and off. I did the same for the forearms. As for the shoulders, I use one of the stretchy elastic strips and glued it to to the abs staps that connect the chest & back plate. From there, I put on button snaps at the ends and glued one the inside of my shoulder bells. You might want to check other methods for this if you don't have access to a button snaps.
22. I saw "plastic welder" in the title and had a mental whiff of the fumes! I can see how people could become addicted to huffing it. I pretty much used only Devcon Plastic Welder, hot glue, and Krazy glue on all my parts. I've been meaning to pick up some E6000 for some patch ups though.
23. I'd love a Skullworx myself, but they waiting list seems to never die down.
