So this might be an appropriate thread for this. I found these under armor off brand items and was wondering if anyone knows whether they appear to be 501st acceptable. ---------- I have not personally gone to walmart to check them out but if anyone has any information they look like an inexpensive alternative.

this might be a very noob question/comment, especially from someone who doesn't even have his own armor... but, it seems like the current dilemma you're having is losing this "back strip", well, why not cut off about an inch and a half of the part that doesn't have the strip, and also maybe a half an inch of the strip side... I'm basing these ideas purely on your pictures so I don't really know what your working with. But if that helps, let me know, maybe sometimes it's the simple answers? I don't know. Like i said, I haven't even built my own yet

So... any update on the ROTJ elite Standards? Anything at all... even if it's just what lenses .

well if it makes you feel any better, i've been killed in game many times by those sneaky troopers. Especially the snipers!!!!!

ok so the 'standard' helmet also has the higher brow trim, is that an easy fix on the AP and TE2 lids?

well the bobble head is the general compliant about FX helmets, so there is a chance you will. Regardless, at least you have some armor, i'm still saving up! I already have $100 towards it! yay approximately 1/11 (maybe 1/9) of the way there!

so i was looking at that website, and it seems that both AP and TE 2 are designed to be stunt helmets. If that is the case, who is a good maker for a nice looking hero?

So, uh, been playing the game, a lot, and i'm really glad to see some new troopers. It's nice to get the variation, give those of us interested in the standard TK armor a little more creative space. the game is a lot of fun too!

I'm not going to lie, that almost makes me want to do a TC before TK!

I contemplated making my own table and molds and such, but i heard it costs just as much if not more than buying a pre-built kit.

I think this is the best addition to the new trilogy. I felt there was a good balance of character development, and star wars-yness, much like the original trilogy.

Well, it's not like this is the first time Star Wars has been a cartoon. Maybe the first time on a big screen, but many of us, if not all, have seen the cartoon network animated series. I thought the movie was done really well.... the first thing i said to my friends when we walked out was "Oh yeah, the original trilogy was about characters! I forgot!". this movie definitely made order 66 a lot more of a big deal.

Just be careful with gaining weight. I'd recommend talking to a doctor/physician

Well i'm pretty sure in order for it to be considered canon and accepted by the 501st, their needs to be at least 3 movie, book, comic, action figure, etc. type of sources. However, there is a better thread for the discussion of fem troopers I loved the movie, didn't like the animation. I can't wait to make a Capt. Rex just to have the pistol blasters. That was bad an impolite person. Hell even Cody looked savage. The armor is sweet to. So now I think I'm going to have to make a normal TK, then a TD or Capt. Rex. too many choices!

Just saw clone wars, and it was a lot better than i expected! Can't wait to see some new costumes come from it! Lot's of white armor in the movie albeit clones, but hey, R2-KT was definitely there as well.
