Have you tried doubling up the undersuit, either with an additional Rockey or UA shirt. I have the ones that walmart sells by Starter and i noticed they seem thinner than my UA stuff (it's not pure black but mostly). On another note: I bought the UA knock off brand, Starter shirt. The problem is, I noticed it bunches a bit in the underarm reason. Probably because I'm tall and skinny so I have a hard time fitting my arms and my chest... but i was wondering if anyone else's UA type stuff bunches at all and is that expected or should i shop around for something that doesnt bunch at all? I'll try to get pics up to better explain what im dealing with sometime this week.

Yeah makes sense. I was just going to use the E6000 for almost everything that needs to be glued.

from what i understand hot glue and HIPS dont go so well. Is that correct? I read that the hot glue melted part of someones ATA kit... i think it was ATA.

I think it would fall under the EU section of 501st just like TX, also would probably be supported in Spec Ops section but shared here cause we all love TKs

These boots are pretty true to size right? Like no one is noticing them running significantly bigger or smaller than their normal shoe size?

do they cost the same or is ABS more expensive?

On this ABS vs HIPS thing... is the formation process any different or can they both be molded in the same way and time?

Welcome man. Like everyone has said... there is tons of information on these boards, and if you still didn't find the answer to your question(s) everyone is really helpful. Im currently shopping around for armor myself, i think one of the first questions you should answer is: what's your price range. Once you know that it might be easier to help narrow down the selection. PM Sent though about other info and such.

is TKBoots.com better than CABoots? Also I was looking at these boots and they appear different. Notice the loops from the CABoots.com image: --------- Is one of these more canon or would they both meet EIB standards?

a) Lexicon scissors where can I find those? I looked up the Cargo Loc lashing straps and couldnt find anything on Walmart.com do you think you could provide an image or link? c) e6000 about how many ounces will i need I noticed Michaels had some the other day but i think their biggest tube was 3.7 oz. Is that enough or will i need more? Great list(s). Product numbers and locations are top notch thanks a lot. I'm going to form my shopping list and start scouting out this weekend. to get some idea of how much this will all cost. Well right now im looking into getting TE2 so that's HIPS i guess, yeah im aware it's expensive.... been working on getting the money for this since at least 2007 and with C V coming up, its time to buckle down. However im still not settled on the TE2. Only thing that worries me is that i'm on the tall and slender side of things so i hope that doesnt pose a problem with the TE2.

Yeah... well I guess this is for myself as well. Seeing as I can't apply yet (no armor) I'm working on at least seeing what is available and what I like and maybe helping out others along the way. Any idea how much this would all cost? I'm trying to figure out how much money i need to acquire to be purchase and build all this at one time. I just bought my under armor and am ordering my boots and gloves this weekend. Slowly moving along.

So I'm getting ready to order my first TK kit and was wondering if there was a list of commonly used tools (glue gun, rivet gun, etc.) that someone could provide. and i guess by tools i also mean things that are required to assemble the armor whether is adhesive such as that E6000 (i think) or rivets. Hey everyone so I'm taking my own advice from another thread and making a list of AVAILABLE TK id numbers. I don't plan on updating this often or at all and im not 100% sure it's accurate but I do have them available. I will gladly send them to anyone who is interested. I'm compiling them in numerous separate .txt documents. at this point i have 9999-7999. So if anyone is looking for TK id numbers starting: 9xxx or 8xxx i've got a list.

Seems like it'd be easier to make a list of AVAILABLE numbers now lol.
