  2. Actually. I am not going to finish this one. My friend lives in the UK and they dont have this black, so I am painting it for him here. He will finish it when he gets it there But thanks for the offer
  3. Paint Rustoleum Professional Gloss Black. I tested the Krylon H20 latex spray and the Rustoleum side by side. The Krylon is horrid. DO NOT USE ughhhh. I took it back to the store for an exchange
  4. Very, very sorry to hear that Scott. We will be praying for your family. If you need ANYTHING just let us know. We are ALL here for you no matter what.
  5. Yep its me, and yes I am everywhere, much to my dismay... I just keep joining new boards.... Not sure how rare it is, but definitely an early work. Probably 2000-2003 me thinks. I am no expert though on the GF lineage.
  6. ITS DONE. I hope you like it buddy Please email me your shipping address so I can get this out to ya. My email is [email protected] Thanks everyone for your donations. I am including them in the box to Kent. I would install the additional items that you guys sent, but its not my thing and I do not have time right now. I am SURE that he will appreciate the stuff though and I wanna thank you for your help. This project would not be as nice without your contributions. Mike
  7. Thats an early GF. The buttons are just missing on the belt cause you didnt put them on.
  8. Well... He sold me the supposed original molds and now claim that I recast him but I AM THE ONLY ONE with the original molds that touched the insides of the 30 year old screen used prop. My molds still have the impression of a wookie hair stuck to the original C-38 by none other than Chewbacca himself. Stomper wont admit it but this is true....
  9. This thread is over a year old......
  10. Its a heavily modified AP (I think) AND ITS TIGHT, but it can be done I got it in trade a few months ago. I trimmed 1 inch off the bottom of the back plate to raise the chest up in front. Trimmed about an inch of the insides of the thighs from the crotch back. Trimmed about 2 1/2 inches off back of knees on thighs. Trimmed about 1/2 inch off the tops of the calves. Still need to possibly trim about 1/2 inch off of the bottom of the calfs. They catch on the thighs pretty bad still. I am the heaviest I have been in years. Maybe its because I am not employed right now/ more beer? I need to get back down to 160 lbs. Its embarrassing
  11. Guess your right, only a fool would pull on it in such a fragile state...
  12. plus you CAN actually use these for Xmas too
  13. Yeah, old Ben has it in his hand when you hear him say "Who's the more foolish - the fool, or the fool who follows him?" Ya' just cant see it.......
  14. Hey DD*E.... Have you seen this recasting scumbag!!! Here The jerk proudly claims its a c-39!!!! buahahahhhahhhhaa!!!!!
  15. Whats the official tape used in it? Will that come with the kit or is that going to be an extra option? Maybe hyperfirm will be offering authentic tape? Will there be whitehole dispensers?
  16. Thanks everybody. Although I am now almost 200 lbs, I somehow squeezed in. At 5'8" I had to hack it up a bit and I am still tweaking it. I know I look chunky as hell.... Its great to be back in armor though, been almost a year. I will be upgrading to firebladejedi's belt and makerofthings blaster soon. The lenses are doubled acetate because it was faster. It was crunch time for "stormtrooper olympics" at the fair, so I worked day and night to get er' done. I do still have the other lenses however.
  17. Ah! OK. Well I do have a "makerofthings" on the way hopefully. Thanks
  18. OH damn, Are you planning on recasting it so we can have some too??? "DD expert" lol
  19. Wow man. You know I have thought about buying a motorcycle many times. I have considered riding a bike as well to save on gas and get healthy. Seeing your story and your pics , I think I will just stay home I liked reading your story. I hope you are doing much better now that you've had time to heal a bit. Be careful on those roads man. Mike
  20. Thanks...I think I understand that.
  21. Can someone draw a simple diagram for me to use. I need to know how to hook up a simple squirrel fan and a switch powered by a 9 volt battery in a helmet. I am having an armor party next weekend and have been asked several times how to hook up a fan. I know how to do it basically, but I wanna make sure that its done safely. A buddy had a battery explode - not good. Luckily he didnt have the helmet on. So, anyone a pro at this? Can you also show how to run two fans off the same switch?
