Paul, Does the shoulder bell pull the shoulder strap down such that you can see it? In other words, does it slip from under the chest strap?

Folks, Carlos made many excellent points that only now am I fully appreciating them. FISD is a growing community. This is not the time to take opinions with respect to one armor and remove them for consideration. We all want more folks to have armor that meets the highest standards, this also means being flexible with the related sources. Therefore, the FX helmet will remain an option for Elite status until such a time that FISD is so big and we have so many Elite members that everyone agrees it is time for another step in armor accuracy. Hi Dave, I'll allow the experts to provide further color, but the size is only one issue. The overall look and shape of the FX helmet is not movie accurate. Its an overall helmet shape that is typically called into question.

To be clear, FX is not on the out with respect to Elite status so there is no immediate concern with those working towards status with an FX helmet nor those that have achieved status with the helmet.

The next FISD patch will be a reissue of the first patch minus the inaugural banner (based on interest and demand). Once that is completed, I'm happy to take suggestions for the next patch. Thanks!

Are you trooping with the MR or just upgrading for display purposes?

Yes! I have two pieces of ABS placed inside my canvas belt to support the holster and TD. My holster is snapped thru the ABS to provide the strength I wanted. My TD clips onto my belt and sits on the ABS on the backside of my belt. I also have a small strip of ABS that is riveted in place to hold my cuffs.
