  1. You are going for deployed than its under the belt for ANH style. Visit: whitearmor.net/requirements for more info.
  2. Gino, Will you post pics? Or if its better let's discuss pic viewing offline (tk4878@gmail.com)
  3. Yep, that's the vendor. Credit goes to SethB since I was so impressed with the stickers...
  4. Joey: correction, I started this thread by splitting off from an early thread. This thread was my idea.
  5. This bickering is pointless for too many reasons. However the armorers will stop the debate due to the following: 1. Anyone who sells anything has a reason to defend their goods 2. If you are an armor seller but don't wear the armor publicly and without charging for it (ala 501st) then see point #1 The intention of this thread is historical, not to debate whose mold is better or first. Frankly it doesn't matter anymore, seller will make up their mind based on what they want. Not for whose armor is closer to real. So Gino, Matt: Either provide history on your armor for the purpose of this exercise or stop replying to this thread. Period. I do not want to ask the Moderator team to clean up this thread, but if this senseless pickering continues this project will come to a hault. Agreed?
  6. This thread is not about who is right or wrong. This thread is about history. No one needs to feel defensive or attacked. Let's flesh out the armor history and then have multiple folks validate / confirm the lineage and history. Finally, remember for each version of the history (think Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), there should be multiple sources to corroborate the time line. But the essence should be the same.
  7. I need to put the entire thing and take some quality pictures. Between work, home remodel and baby duty, the armor tub is sitting in the back of the garage. DOH!
  8. I'm already working on it since I have the master logo files....
  9. Great armor work and nice job putting that site together.
  10. Any post that's drops an f bomb will be deleted. Period.
  11. Starting a new thread for the armor history discussion
  12. Great. I do want to have several people involved so we can work thru any debate and corroborate the time line. I've already spoken to Gino and he wants to help as well, so that's two.
  13. Gino and Joey, As you both have a very different historical approach on armor history, I would suggest you take this conversation to PM and discuss further. Clearly armor history has not been carefully chronicled otherwise there wouldn't be such a strong opinion on which material was reference or original. Anyone interested in being a historian and working out the details?
  14. I went to CCI this year (my first) and it was a BLAST! Its so freaking huge you can't quite imagine.
  15. I work out on / off and I haven't had any issues with gluing the forearms and biceps together. Of course, I'm not trying to put on pounds of muscle, just stay in shape (which means more running). You mind that foam in the forearms glued from the inside will prevent them from rotating. I found I needed the foam even though they slip on fine glued together.
  16. I personally like the clock better Wyatt needs a better avatar name: How about "Scotty" as in miracle worker...
  17. Jeeze, Wyatt never ceases to amaze (applause)
  18. How about on th edge of the mouth/grill area so you are closer to drawer air in?
  19. Nope, a holster is not required to join the 501st Legion.
  20. The F/X helmet maybe be oversized, but with some key modifications, it look much better and fit the FISD deployment specifications. I finally completed my mod's today: 1. Blue tube stripes 2. Stunt configuration: green flat lenses with 8 teeth 3. hovi mic tips 4. Updated brow trim for clean look See pics below, the third picture is my F/X next to my RT for comparison... Thanks to Stomper (hovi's), SuperTrooper (mic's in hovi's), and Machorascal (brow trim).
  21. I not sure what I'm more impressed with, the model or the collection in the background
  22. I believe Scott is taking this weekend to get ready for his big event. Check it out here: http://whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1326
