  1. 501st Approved: ANH Stunt TK Snowtropper In Progress: Scanning Crew (ESB) Eventually: AT-ST Driver Imperial Line Officer
  2. When I moved from the then Alaska Outpost to the Carolina Garrison Tom was a true friend to me and made me feel welcome. I always looked forward to the DragonCon Parade where he often brought his TK being killed by a robotic ewok armor which is to this day one of the greatest things I've ever seen. He is missed and I hope he finds the peace that evaded him in the last few years of his life. Buckets off.
  3. I'll be there, I was going to bring my snowie but now I might be bringing something else...
  4. I wouldn't base off others' measurements for something like the belt because different sized troopers require different sized belts. I just centered mine.
  5. Well I personally troop as a Snowtrooper more often because a) I live in Alaska, its more comfortable for long periods, c) I'm the only one in the outpost so I feel I need to represent and d) I've always felt Snowies were a little extra BA. Most of our troops in Fairbanks are 1-2 TKs, me as TS, and 1 TB/CDR Bly so we don't really get large troops. I bust out the TK for events I feel it would be more appropriate for or if we might have just me and the other 2 TKs in the area. I can understand that desire to have a whole "legion" of just TKs but we all have certain costumes or characters we just love. oh and e) POUCHES!
  6. Giving the rest of us something to read every day
  7. Welcome! There isn't a 501st approved "Stormtrooper Medic" but I'm not sure of all the variations on the Clone side of the house. Here you have four variations from the original trilogy (ANH Stunt, ANH Hereo, ESB, ROTJ) and five approved EU (INC, TKC, HWT, Sky Trooper, and Death Trooper). Currently being researched/considered are Phase III, Kashyyk Trooper, and Legacy (Joker Squad). Besides if your armor is designed to ensure a stubbed toe kills you why have medics?
  8. Very cool, I think the ICN is probably my favorite of the EU TKs.
  9. I have a MonCal Snowie and I love it. It can take 6-8 months for his complete kit, not sure what the wait would be for just the helmet.
  10. That's the danger with EvilBay, you start with the prospect of getting a good deal and then some people can't stop bidding once they want to "win" so they end up loosing out in the end.
  11. I'll be there as a TS but I'd love to jump in with my FISD shirt if it doesn't conflict with the BF pic.
  12. Happy Birthday Paul!
  13. Good job every one, I think this is when we collectively "brush it off".
  14. Yeah, my E-11 is having confidence issues after seeing that flamer.
  15. Looking good, luckily for you we have an opening cleaning the trash compactors! Better have your EIB photos ready to go, maybe even get the thread stared now so you can make any changes if necessary.
  16. Woot! Thanks guys, found out I'm being assigned to the detention level, should be a nice boring assignment.
  17. OK, here we go: first some blaster pics... and now for some bucket close ups.... belt details... gloves... full body shots... no the other kind of body shots me with a beret I am shaping for Daetrin... action shot! ta da! Let me know if I'm missing anything.
  18. Yep, looking forward to getting out there.

  19. Well i know right now they are sitting to low because I need to strap my ab/kidneys up like four inches. You should see black on the knee just for mobility, right now I can walk in them but not very well. I post pics later today or tomorrow once I've moved them up.
  20. Well there is plenty I have to do before EIB, I have more accurate gloves/handguards on order, my blaster still needs some details added, I need to touch up the paint on my helmet in a few spots, and otherwise just get the armor settled better first. Thanks for the support though, wouldn't have gotten this far without the incredible resources of this site and its community.
  21. Thought I'd post some pics of my ANH Stunt armor I've been picking away at for like 1 1/2 yrs now. Still plenty of stuff to refine, need to adjust my strapping, wire my helmet, etc. but hopefully I can get 501st approval soon.
  22. Today is the 235th Birthday for the US Army! Also celebrated as Flag Day take a minute to think of those serving overseas. US Army Field Artillery "King of Battle"
  23. I wanted to acquire accurate neck trim for my helmet and wanted to see what people suggest. I would be willing to sacrafice a little accuracy if there is something pretty close available at Lowe's or Home Depot.
