  1. Such a shame people don't know about this place
  2. I think AA only used HDPE for it's springiness involved in the undercuts he needed TK achieve The body doesn't have anywhere near that level do ABS was used I maybe wrong, however and sadly everything AA says is questions and poopood beyond belief His own fault, but it can't ALL be lies, surely
  3. I'm assuming you mean the oval thing right? Are you implying you may have an original on your hands then
  4. When's the BluRay coming out again
  5. If it helps you, my bells are bone white high gloss hips or abs John
  6. There you have it If the bumps are inside, then yep, it must have been on the mould itself So goes to price they must have cleane the mould up for the heroes It's not on them too, right?
  7. Also, we've had this debate before. Personally I believe we should aim for what was intended not how it actually was/is 30yrs later The public don't want to see chips, bumps and cracks. I've heard some pass negative comments on such replications as they sadly don't understand. They expect to see shinny pristine soldiers. Hardcore fans do understand, but the majority of the public (who we do this for) don't and would think a swarm of Bees attacked you while you painted your lid. Great as a project, not as a 501st wearable public facing TK
  8. Is that bumpy appearance due to the paint and not the HDPE though? I'm on my iPhone ATM but where the paint had chipped, it doesn't look bumpy to me. I mean, look at the chip above the ear. It's all warped and wrinkled but the chipped part looks smooth as So is it paint or the plastic? Edit: Sorry LittleOne. I agree, I think it's the paint notthe actual plastic
  9. Have a chat with Jez from starwarshelmets.com I'm thinking none
  10. Ian isn't the best ATM TBH and wants to step down. Try Percy Ricaud? Ian's address is [email protected] however. Not sure of Percys
  11. I wouldn't worry about it that much TBH Ive sold loads of bells to loads of people and never get complaints A lot of suppliers change their plastic source from time to time so it's hard to say truly What I will say is, if they're a little bit off, so what. It draw attention to the fact it's a different armour piece without people noticing it's a different colour Helmets I'd be more cconcerns about
  12. Yeah it's the lighting and filters they used, Paul is correct. Almost all scenes used a blue filter. Han's coat on Hoth is a classic example (brown in reality but blue on screen)
  13. Good work dude Enjoy Siluthian Both is a cool alien name. Always wanted to use it but never had the chance Be my guest
  14. I agree. I doubt they cast several that happened to have different scopes...? Pugmans original does seem to have a rather 'longer' scope on it M38a2 'maybe' but I'm not 100% What do you think this one is?
  15. I haven't studied ESB enough to check if all the scopes on the blasters are all the same one. Easy to spot as some were long, others shorter. I 'think' most ESB blasters use the shorter scope yes
  16. I can't see it but yes I'm going to assume they just cast one and made duplicates of that. Then again.... The one above being handed over doesn't appear to have the 3 dots on the receiver. When's the flipping BluRay coming out PS: the promo blaster IS the stunt blaster. It shouldn't be called a promo blaster as we're proving they were used in the film on set. Not just for that promo shot
  17. Good spot there dude But yes, same guys so I guess a few must be ESB stunts
  18. No dude. The one above in my post Or this one thats in the promo but thought only to be in the hands of TS My point of this post is TKs clearly hold them too Watch this scene and click pause just before this frame TK clearly has the greeblie ESB resin stunt version
  19. I think you could still twist a coiled spring inside the slot? Just not sure how you'd stop it 'rattling'
  20. Good guys Glad a are few are agreeing. I know a stunt E11 is allowed for ESB TKs but to say they weren't used on set is untrue. Embrace the ugly stunt
  21. Ah, but maybe I was wrong? Lol I dont categorically know that scifire don't make resin stuff
  22. I thought all hyperfirm blasters are urathane foam? Steve Rogers are urathane parts over a PVC pipe
  23. That is a delightful Steve Rogers (Tango'd Fett) bad boy Been nagging him for a while for one and I won this at a UKG ball last year. I've been swimming in raw sewage. I love it
  24. This is my ESB E11 Very different to the E11 above...kind of Haven't given ROTJ much attention bur that looks like a ROTJ version yes. Different base and track etc
  25. Yes I knew that was Mr B. Think I mention it above so you'd know where to look. He'll of a coward grabbing Leia
