I think the trouble is where the elastic is folded over its not sitting very flat.How do they look on the inside? This is how my 1.5 set looked

They can be a pain to get working at first. I find you need to play with the setting for a while to get the static burst to kick in. I think adjusting the delay mode so that you can say a long sentance helps..

I dont think plastic belts are good for clearance, best check with your GML with your own garrison.

Ive never hada snap plate fall off from any of my builds using E-6000.. Walking easily is all to do with your height and how the armour restricts your movement, also something ive never had any trouble with..

This prob only works well with thin armour. Got any pics?

I noticed that your ear screws are not painted, the tube stripes are rather large and i would like to see more pics of your hand painted details on the helmet. I would also say the canvas belt is too wise, it should be 3 inches wide. At a guess yours looks over 4, also the plastic ammo belt part is trimmed wrong at the 45' angles. The holster is a little flimsy too and not overly accurate. The td clips need to be metal and spaced further apart for a better look. I think you need to get your member status sorted to 501st too, although i dont know who you need to ping for that. What happened to detailed pictures for applicants? I see you are missing a left side shot, and i would like to see close ups of the chest straps, buttons and other specifics in apllication threads.

I always made mine 3 inches wide as they are. I'm not sure why others made them wider.

About 3 years ago I made TE some canvas belts made up of 5 layers just like the ones he saw in the Lucas archives. But they were a pain in the a very impolite person to make and looked like crap so I would not do any more like that myself.

I pretty much trimmed all the return edges from all my armour down to nothing on my last build, apart from a couple of places. It's a personal choice really. Depending on which armour you are working on you can remove it all but still see that the armour had depth to it.

1 inch for drop boxes.

Starting at the top.. Chest to back - 2 inch Shoulder bells to torso - 1 inch Bicep to forearm - 2 inch Torso - 1 inch Thighs - 3 inch Shins - 1 inch

Now that's a collection!!!
