  1. Thanks to my good friend Darth Aloha, here's a black version:
  2. Never heard or seen of it. But if so, Id like to learn something new
  3. Can someone with photoshop skills make the white sculpt black? Just for the fun! Thanks in advance!
  4. I'll keep you posted! I wished it was already done! Will do ! Fortunately, the mold is done by a friend of mine.
  5. Almost everything is wrong with it. And it looks bad. Real bad. Besides the numerous inaccuracies of the old FX, it is a bad and soft recast.
  6. run like hell!
  7. No worries! I hope you find the thread useful!
  8. There are already several threads about that: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19280&hl=paint%20inside%20helmet&st=0 The search function is quite a useful tool
  9. Thanks, John! I really appreciate your kind words. The basic "sculpt" is almost done. Still need to mend some minor defects, making the ribs a little smoother (=losing the texture), in essence, make it "nicer! Then a silicone mold is made, because: *) I need a resin "back up" * to cast the seal, this "sculpt" needs to be made of plaster.
  10. I'll pp some $$$ soon. If I can get her hand size somehow, I'll make her some hand guards!
  11. I'm only making the stunt versions, not the hero ones (Luke and Han) as there are some nice versions out there already.
  12. I'll soon have some surplus amonuts of black latex (because of the casting process for neckseals) I need some ideas what to do with it. I'm thinking about rubber t-tracks and even latex holsters (non stretchy, thick, with a leather like surface.) Any other ideas? Thanks, Karin
  13. They're growing like mushrooms.
  14. I don't know who this character is, but it looks scary (in apositive way)!
  15. Not too bad. The u-shape of the fabric is a little off, and they're a little bit too square. But paint them white and you're good!
  16. Yeah, what Mathias said.
  17. Anyone wants to chime in with his dicussion on FB? He's claiming that "501st approved" BS https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.446051488772165.98741.412112785499369&type=1&comment_id=5124184&notif_t=like
  18. Actually, no. He tried to make them more accuste, like to extra button and the notch on the ab plate. He must be a member on this forum
  19. Well, it is pinned in the section "Getting started- read this first"
  20. A friend of mine favors automotive paint from the rattle can. It has some flex, highly resitant to environment conditions and scratches, and comes in ahigh variety.
  21. No worries. There are only 10 kind of people of the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
  22. If you really want to go that route, do it! But I'd take the advice of the more experienced members. You not only need much time, money and bondo (which you seem to have), but patience, information and lots of pics to make a recast kit some what screen accurate. It's more than just sharpening some edges. Members who made a screen accurate armor basically from scratch took many, many years and some serious money to get it right.
