  1. Then why isn't the maker mentioned? Besides, I've seen sharper AM pulls.
  2. Well, it isn't that bad. A little bondo, some paint, correct stickers.....
  3. Maybe this helps:
  4. LOOOL! I love this forum! Great international understanding!
  5. That's not very nice of you! (I know how to use google translator )
  6. Thanks everybody! Just a little experimenting with the pattern. You can also see my modified tool Sorry to bother you all with every single step, but evey mistsake I'll make will end up time consuming and costs money ; (which I don't have enough of both, lol)
  7. I don't know who that seller is and I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but if they request sending the money as gift, it seems rather, let's say, odd to me. Just sayin'
  8. don't you rememeber the Swedish chef from "The Muppet Show"? Smörebröd, smörebröd, röm pöm pöm pöm!
  9. I know Vern! That's why I asked everybody for their neck size in advance I'll make the 16" version atm, When it's finished, we'll see how much it stretches to be still comfy. A larger version (like 18") ist easy to make once the first one is finished. If eveything works out, there will even be a 14" version (as in "M", "L" and "XL")
  10. I don't really believe that.I thinkthey're just afraid recast ABS versions will show up.
  11. No trade secrets; everthing can be found on the net After I finish the sculpt, I'll make a plaster copy. That will be dipped in BIG vat of latex. After a certain amount of time a latex "skin" has been built, and the vat will be emptied. The thickness should be around 1 mm. The sample I've shown earlier is about 0,25 mm If one is worried that 1 mm is not enough: a bicycle tire is about 1mm
  12. Andrew, it'll be separate rings. Glen, the "draping"effect is achieved byslashing the bib into strips, about 2" You can see that on the trooperonthe far left
  13. Actually, this time ebay is helpful. But why use a metal strip? You'll use half of the force (no pun!). Now, that I learned how magnets work.
  14. Actually, screen accurate padding and strapping worked fine for me
  15. You did! Thank you! What's your drink? Too bad I cant help you with your question
  16. LOL! I didn't expext an answer to that! We need to send this link to certain trolls!
  17. Since this is the section française, peut-être que nous devrions écrire en français?
  18. Can someone explain to me how magnets work?
  19. Men never grow up!
  20. edit: Brain malfunction.
  21. 90210 was the first thing that came to my mind, too
  22. Ready to hit with some bondo! Any comments or suggestions?
  23. thank you! Waiting for the foam to cure and having a nice snack from Hawai'i Think of this as an elaborate armature for the sculpt.
  24. I agree with Vern But keep the style consistent on your armor, not 45 degrees on left leg, and rounded on right leg-
