Thanks, Gary!
Yeah, this is the reason I have'nt found a suitable material so far.
I gues I'll have to look in, errh, toy industry for a suitable silicone.
It has to be black, harmless, stretchy, and brushable.
But first things first!
Thanks for your input, Vern!
I'm considering all these elements.
But the first ones will be black latex. I'll consider silicone ones one I have everything rolling.
BTW: I hate sanding!
Less posting, more eating!
What Mathias said. Original style strapping (regardless if brackets or snaps) is the easiest and most reliable method.
You can still use a belt for the thighs; if you got no hips, just sew on some belt loops and your under armor
Update:
I'm building a nice base out some clear pleastic (?) and some isolation foam I got donated . (This will be needed later for the latex casting process; I'll explain later. Much "ahead thinking was needed to save cash))
Next;
-little bondo time + sanding
- spray putty + more sanding (you'll get veeery smooth surfaces witgh this stuff!!)
- glossy spray painting
(this should be done by friday)
- molding time (I need this to be plaster)
- making plaster copy
(I reserve the weekend for that)
LATEX CASTING!
