  1. Greetings, Erik! It’s great to see that you’re found your way here, and like you, I myself took my sweet time in finally pulling the trigger. RS will be a good kit, and it sounds like you’ll be assembling it yourself, as opposed to commissioning it, correct? If so, here is a link of resources that may be of help to you as your work through assembly. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49412-all-in-one-tk-anh-stunt-index-of-resources-by-maskedvengeance/
  2. I second what Justin says - Crow Props specializes in custom (large) sizing. KeepTrooping (formerly known as Imperial Boots), is the typical source for more regular sizing. Congrats on the upcoming wedding! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Welcome Bryan! As Glen mentioned, the amount of overlap of your shoulder bridges will really depend on the depth you need, or essentially the size of the gap between your chest and back pieces. Like Glen, I too have an ATA armor kit, and needed as much span with the bridges as possible. To that end, rather than completely shearing off the large tab on the rear, I cut and sanded it down to about half-size in order to gain a bonus “small tab.” I did also have to remove and reglue my bridges once during the build process, so if you use E-6000 as your adhesive you’ll have no problems with future adjustments! Looking forward to follow along with your build!
  4. Dude I’d totally jump on a merch run for/with you. I love puzzles and enjoyed compiling the pin interest thread quantities for you. =) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Cool. I also like the blue blaster shirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Late to the party here, Alex. We’re all looking forward to seeing your obligatory (haha) BBB photos, and following along with your build! I’ve compiled a relatively exhaustive (and perhaps exhausting lol) list of resources linked to in my signature. Obviously you already have build experience, but perhaps it could be helpful to you on your TK journey! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Welcome, Tristan! Awesome to see you’ve explored various Euro-based armor makers! If you want additional diversity, you could also try RWA from the UK, and then I think there are also some prominent makers in Spain and Germany too! I do still need to finish my own DA Props Hero helmet sometime. I’m sure Luca will be around here soon to comment as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. TIE reserve. That’s the reason. One of the most cost-effective ways to get into the Legion. But in reality I’m sure there are a myriad of reasons. Old guard TKs retiring, new TV shows bringing new fun kits in other detachments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Motivation to grow our ranks! Let’s do this!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Greetings Eleanor! You’re certainly in the right place for all things stormtrooper related, and it’s cool to hear your story and see that you have a fem on the way! If you have any questions along the way while you build, don’t hesitate to post up here on the forum. I’m sure lots of troopers will come to your aid! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Welcome back, Adam! I can definitely related on the family obligations and such, and I too had an elongated journey to get to this point. I, too, have ATA armor, and really loved building it. Obviously you're not new to this hobby, having already previously built a TK, but here are some links that you may find helpful in your revisiting of research. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49412-all-in-one-tk-anh-stunt-index-of-resources-by-maskedvengeance/ And here is my yet unfinished ATA thread that may still be of use to you. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48337-mvs-anh-tk-stunt-ata-1st-build-thread-for-centurion/ And finally, as far as video tutorials are concerns, I really like the series that RS Props did, which contains far more information than what Mike from Trooperbay did. Here's a link to the RS video playlist. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLylZBXOeIZgnM256-WdjM5oMLygc-_4pZ Looking forward to seeing you complete your ATA kit!
  12. Congrats James! It's great to see somebody take on the spot as FISD's most recent Centurion! Good company in our little sequence here too... Morgi at 521, myself at 522, and now you at 523!
  13. GREAT to see your submission, James! Fantastic work on trimming the ends of your ABS belt to bring the angled cuts into alignment with your canvas belt, and good to see smoothed surface blaster too! You'll be our newest Centurion very soon!
  14. Hello again Jay, and welcome to the TK-build journey! We all look forward to seeing you don that white armor for your grandson, and I'm so glad to see that some Legion members were able to visit him in the hospital.
  15. Yeeaaahhhh buddy! Mark your calendars for 2026! I actually sent a similar photo to Adam (and Luca, who was less excited) two weeks ago when that covert mando debuted. Bonus that it's confirmed as a trooperbay pauldron, so attainable screen accuracy!
  16. Inspired by @revlimiter (image plucked without permission) @Morgi
  17. We all have those projects. Mine just happened to be my entire first TK build.
  18. Luca you would have killed it at the Detach meetup had you had those meme coins in hand. I mean, I'm sure you and Biggi and the rest of Chaos killed it anyway. =) Chris - We accept your offering.
  19. Haha nice. Gary - Send me a PM if Adam hasn't already hit you up.
  20. Congrats Alex, and welcome to the club! I know it's been a long journey for you! We'll certainly expect to see your EI application in the future!
  21. Welcome, Jeff! I’m sure you’re getting very excited about BBB Day, and yours will be extra exciting I’m sure due to your commissioning of a custom suit. Glen has you on the right track with the thread he shared, and if you scroll to the bottom of the first post you’ll see the components that I ordered, which were pretty common ones. Hellhounds, who my rubber E-11 came from, isn’t currently in production, but there is a link to an E-11 vendor list on the aforementioned Resources Compilation thread. Darman (Bobby) makes a great washable neck-seal, found on Etsy or his own website, and there are several good options for helmet fans. I suspect I speak for others when I say we look forward to seeing you complete your build, and perhaps eventually submit for L2 and L3!
  22. Shots fired! So I'll just put a hold on the package going out to you with another meme coin? Equal opportunity merch acquisitionist here. Haha.
  23. Haha. We don’t limit our trades for only memes. We’ll take coins too.
  24. Never mind, carry on. Very cool dude! Awesome that the reception turned around for you guys since last year!
  25. I may have archived (hidden) that purchase on my Amazon account last week lest my wife wonder what the heck is going on with my silly stormtrooper friends, or worse.
