  1. Started glueing the back piece for the helmet, I tried to get it as close as I could but it still seems a bit narrow, or is it?
  2. Yesterday was a long troop, we were in a local mall, where some people from Gameskap, a group that works with old games and tabletop games had an event. Me, Vader, TIE and 3 of Vader's sons were there, we had a small booth and patrolled the area. I may have tired myself out a bit unnecesserairly as I went on non-stop for about little over 5 hours, oh well... Next troop will probably be Nordsken, next month, the big con here in northern Sweden. It has been an hiatus over the lockdowns, but now it seems they are coming back pretty hard. See you then!
  3. Today I continued with the shoulder bridges, now I need some help; Do I need to cut off some tabs as it is or does it look fine? (I have it taped with 3 tabs in the front.) Help is appreciated. For something else, I managed to begin work on the helmet, I added the screw on the dome but there were some gaps that made it move around so I added some e6000 to make it stop. I also added the cowl to the visor, not to bad if I do say so. (Also, sorry, but only one layer. )
  4. Made some progress today on the backpack; And the shoulder straps:
  5. Long time no see! There has been a lot in the way recently, school mostly, but today I managed to take some hours to work on this. I managed to make the whole groin ensamble; The boot straps; And the brackets for the chest. (I couldn't really hammer in the rivets very well so I tried to glue some e6000 on them, went so-so, will clean it up soon.) Hopefully not this long wait for next time, but until then, see ya!
  6. Long time no see! Went on a troop yesterday in Luleå, for Vilda Kidz again, together with the family of troopers that I've been with on numerous occasions now. Also two others. It was a big kids party with MANY kids, but it only went on for 2 hours so it wasn't THAT bad! Hopefully I can continue with my builds soon, there have just been so much crap in the way! Oh, well see you next time, I guess!
  7. It'll come soon, probably, maybe, perhaps next month?
  8. It looks excellent! I haven't started on mine yet, stuff gets in the way all the time, but this is a great source of inspiration! Probably one of the best ones i've seen!
  9. Awesome that you're back! Looking forward to seeing your progress! I might also have a dlt build on the way , but it's going still slow with my snowie so we shall see when I get to it...
  10. I decided to only put foam in them, not tighten, and they are snug now.
  11. Although I did not know him personally, I did however buy parts from him for my build. They were harder and sturdier than the pieces I had and I'm sure they will hold a long time to honor his memory. Buckets off.
  12. Managed to glue the forarms together with finishing the TD! Just have to wait for the glue to dry.
  13. Hello there! It's been a month since last time, life got in the way of things, but today I managed atleast to finish my belt! We shall see if it goes this slow with the rest (hopefully not), See you next time!
  14. THE biggest troop by far was this weekend, Stockholm Comiccon! (I'm behind the snowie on the right) My first troop at a con, and what a great one it was! It went on through 3 consecutive days and I met a lot of new folk, can't wait to meet them again! And I finally got to meet some more regular TKs! It has been to long of a time where I am the only one! (Second one to the left) We went out multiple times out together and we all had great fun! (Right one) (Left one) Though sometimes I went alone or found some others to tag along with. 2 times a day there were cosplay parades where the Nordic Legions led cosplayers through the building and that made many smile! (In the middle between the 2 TKs) Although it was all fun, it really was exhausting, so I did some supporter work from time to time too! (I call this one; "Tired Trooper". I can't wait for the next one! (PS, does this count as 1 or 3 troops, since it went on for three days?)
  15. Made some tea today! They look a bit darker in person, but still, do they need more bath? Question, should I give these a bath too? Or should I save it for the weathering? These are just beige.
  16. I'd love to, but I don't think I have space for it together with the TK and other stuff. On the other hand, things might be picking up now that the glue has arrived.... Or not, we shall see Thank you though for the oppurtunity though!
  17. Trimmed the eyes a bit more! Got my E6000 in the mail today, so glue time soon!
  18. Took off some return edges today for the arm pieces, thanks to a tip from our dear GML Daniel. BTW, What's your opinion on my eye slits? If there are any more things I've missed please tell, I want to be done with all the trimming!
  19. Trimming done!(?) If it's anywhere you think I should return to please tell! Dome That's it for today!
  20. Started trimming today! This is for next time! That's it for today, took over 5 hours.
  21. Thank you for the suggestions Glen! I've ordered a blaster from Imperial Warfighters on FB (100£) and e6000 from amazon, the glue will probably come at the end of the month so I will work on something without that in the meantime.
