  1. This is the last resource, as you said, the plastic could melt .
  2. If you have some ABS pieces from scrap, I would strongly recommend to make some test first. Hot water (boiling), Heat gun , and see how the plastic behave in each test.
  3. Hi Jan, this is a common issue . The RS shins don’t normally meet at the rear top ridge until the rear fixings are in place . You can try adding the velcro and see how they match. Plan b would be to give a hot water bath to the misaligned side to match the other one. A complete photo would be good.
  4. Nice work, Hope it works great ! I had to change the velcro for Magnets. The pressure when placed the chest piece made it pop up.
  5. Awesome news ! You may want to check the gallery section or post here before (any drilling) attaching the rivets .
  6. I agree what Glen suggested. ( a little battle damage is allowed ) and I'm afraid If you keep on sanding and applying abs paste the cure could be worse than the ill
  7. If I may Allan, perhaps you would like to consider takeing the next step. Take a read and let us know all your doubts
  8. Yes Sir. We check regularly .
  9. They are similar. remember that for Legion basic approval the blaster is not required. And I would suggest , for approval photos or Higher levels submission don't wear the blaster into the holster, (usually it makes the Ab belt to bend a bit to the side )
  10. Hi Scott, Have you tried with your armor maker? (in case you're looking to replace the same armor parts). Why this? sometimes you would have the issue of different shade of white color of the pieces from another vendor.
  11. this is the first time I see that. Since it's located behind, I wouldn't worry . Can you post a picture of the front without the blaster? Reference image
  12. Great to know James, Retreat hell!! Keep on updating your progress
  13. To me it looks good as it . As you said more authentic
  14. Take a look to this Also you can take a look to this useful index of resources
  15. coming along nicely James! It looks like with one more coat of abs, fine sanding paper and polish it will be fine. I have no experienced with finger/acetone .
  16. Hi Gregory Thank you for reaching us for a pre approval check. Some details that caught my attention As the Crl states for Basic level " Kidney Armor: A separate kidney plate is present, split from the posterior armor." and "Posterior Armor :A separate rear armor piece is split from the Kidney Armor: Yours yours seems to be still one single piece. You would need to trim and install the snap/straps to joint them. Reference You may want to check your Thermal detonator dimensions, to my eyes it seems a little wide? Reference image The rivets of your thigh ammo pack could be painted white for more accuracy. Reference And for the Holster attachment: You can use snaps or rivets
  17. @MaskedVengeance Hey Caleb, this could be another great addition to your Index. !
