  1. I didn't pay attention when I was kitting up, and ended up with the shins higher than the Velcro, just hitting the top of it. I dressed yesterday because I was messing with my electronics in the helmet (Having Feedback like crazy) and made sure to lower the shins, walked around with no issues. also got the thighs evened up. Only thing keeping from submitting EIB is the ear paint
  2. APPROVED!!!! TK-21523 Reporting for duty!!! will fix my issues with my armor and submit for EIB and then on to Centurion!!!
  3. Well first off welcome, you have come to the right place for what your doing, and HEY! what do you mean by this statement? remember Vader directed us to let that scum go in order to find the rest of the rebels. Remember "only imperial stormtroopers are so precise" just giving you a hard time, but please don't insult our marksmanship, we troopers take pride in all that we destroy and concur. Join us! Good luck with the build and hope to see you at L3 status!
  4. My wife did an amazing job, i was really lucky! she is a theater teacher had has an eye for detail. i briefed her on some things like the lines and believe me she made sure they were straight. I am so happy she has supported me through this, there have been some F bombs thrown down the stairs a time or two lol. But yes, i did stress to her about the alignment and every time i moved something shifted slightly, she caught it right away and it got fixed. just that little thing with the thigh slipped through (bummed) but i will figure that out before submitting L2/L3
  5. Frank did you see anything else other than what was pointed out? or just talking about the stuff Joseph pointed out. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated sir
  6. Any suggestions to thin out the black around the bumps? mineral spirits? and yeah i was afraid of that sniper knee. I think if i can get that thigh pulled up more it might help with that. not sure why its sitting off like that. My wife did an amazing job though with taking direction with my photos.
  7. Yep, got to take off all the return on the wrist. even the ridge
  8. Dang it. I normally get that right. let me fix it!
  9. Alright all here it is. I am asking for your help to let me know if there are any changes needing to be made before I submit for my approval to the GML. Name: Jordan Tindol Garrison: Star Garrison Armor: AM Bucket: AM Cloth Belt: unknown (bought second hand/New) Neck Seal: Darman's Props Boots: TK Boots Blaster: Hyperform Height: 6'1" (186cm) Weight: 215 lbs (98 kg) Type: TK ANH Stunt Super big thank you to every one of you that had a hand in this, both on the forum and in person! ( @justjoseph63 @ukswrath @Pretzel @LTM @TheSwede @Frank75139 @Seansull and everyone else i may forgot to mention (Im sorry))
  10. Just got my photos. Going to post them here in the Pre-Approval area and see what everyone says. then once i get word i am approved they will be coming the EIB and Centurion shortly after!!!
  11. Blaster with ring installed and painted. Hope this will make L3
  12. I ordered a bunch of both. Think i will go elastic first, then kit up and evaluate my situation. find places (if any) that need more "stability" and adjust.
  13. oh Snap!!! Belt is done. Snap plates are going in. Gonna take a few days for lack of clamps and magnets. but ill get to my goal by this weekend!!!
  14. Along with my ask before you act deal, just a point of clarification if you will. The material that actually attaches the parts together, the 2 in by 4 in strip, is that elastic or Nylon straps? or is either one ok to use? I got the snaps set in the 1in by 2in and will have both 2in nylon and elastic delivered tomorrow, but which should be used for the interior strapping?
  15. Yeah, I had to give my biceps a hot water bath last night to reshape them, the AM armor is great but was a little oval, so while I was there I made the hooks and installed them. I am hoping I did that right lol. Its super easy to do though so shouldn't be any issue for you to knock out
  16. If I may, just off the glance, you may want to pull your biceps up a little and tuck them under the shoulder. Besides that and everything else stated, your armor looks great, looking forward to your EIB and Centurion submission
  17. Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!!!
  18. My biggest concern is the L3 approval. I have seen people get knocked for stuff that isn't listed in the CRL but is "screen accurate" and missing from the build. My opinion is that if it isn't seen, it shouldn't matter. But I know they need picks of the back of the belt when applying, so was wondering if it was to check for the rivets or purely that there was an inner box. just curious, how do you close your boxes?
  19. YES! lol. thank you for posting that pic. yes that is what im asking. Can I use snaps there, or can I just glue that down. or does it need to be riveted for L3 approval?
  20. Ok, I think I am going to try and get my belt completed this weekend. Question about the drop boxes, Can I use snaps or just glue them to the straps to hang from the belt, or do they need to be rivets that hold them in. I would like snaps because I could then remove the boxes for whatever reason, be it to rework them as actual working boxes or whatever? Going for L3 here so need to take that into account if it matters. CRL was no help for this.
