Basically make sure your cover strips are in a straight line. Also if your thighs are strapped to your ab it’s gonna pull your ab down. Trust me I’m fixing that problem as we speak. I have (soon to be had) mine down that way. As for the knee cutout here is a pic of my armor knee cut, you can see the trim job on the lower half of the thigh. It helps with walking and reduces armor bites. If your not having problems then you can always wait on that. I’ve gotten a few troops in and that’s why you start feeling the bites and what not. I literally went to work the day after my first troop and had huge bruises on the inside of my elbows. Everyone kept asking what happened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TK 21523 Reporting in!

Then what? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I did the placement behind the ear holes. It wasn’t hard, drill the helmet holes (if needed) then just hold the visor in there and mark the holes on one side. Drill the visor holes then bolt it loosely to the inside, then mark the other side on the visor. Take it out drill it, then put it all together. Should fit perfectly. As long as you make sure it’s centered when you mark the holes it’ll work. Don’t drill too fast it doesn’t take much to get through and make sure the bit is the right size. No helmet no problem, you’ve got plenty of work to do before that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think it’s good. Looks like the inside, top and bottom are snug. You want some room, just a fine line of not too much. If it feels good I’d stick with it. Just 1 opinion thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just the stuff that was pointed out already. I will say to make sure in your pics everything is aligned. I was shot down for my lines being slightly off. Every garrison is different I just know it happened to me and it’s an easy fix. It’s always best to have someone who knows how to dress a TK do the pictures. My wife did mine and things got misaligned and I didn’t realize and she had no clue. Take the pics, then check them before undressing. As for the ear bump lines. Mine are thick too. Thin is more accurate but the helmets Weren’t perfect. I have the same issue with my knee. I’m currently off this coming week and I plan on breaking it out and trimming the tops of both my thighs. Mainly for fit after a few troops but its also the added benefit of getting it away from the knee plate. I have the foam back there and it helps a bit. But it still bothers me. It’s all easy stuff to fix. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like your aware of all of the issues and fixed most of them already. As for the photo submission. I got shot down for things like pieces not sitting properly. I think all garrisons are different but in mine it had to be perfect. If my thigh rotated I needed a new pic, not just a your good but rotate it when your trooping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Save all that cut off. I used some of those wide long strips as interior cover strips to strengthen. When I was done I tossed all the cuts and kept a few longer pieces for cover strips and what not. Turns out I’ve got a crack in my chest and I want to make some ABS paste to fill it after backing it. Wish I had all those cuts to match the color up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great idea I’ll have to look into that. And I’m sure once your TK is done it’ll boost you to start something else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I asked, and still do ask some pretty odd questions. It’s all good. As for foam.... I went to a local craft shop (Joanne’s) and got seat padding. They have different thicknesses, just glue or Velcro it where you need it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
