  2. Hi Michael! I have checked your original post and I can see all of it, so it might just be the fact that your post is very old and stems from a time where FISD wasn't as active as it is now. Maybe you can just start a new build thread but just skip the whole part of the beginning and just add a couple of pictures so people can see where you're at right now. Anyway, welcome back ;)
  3. A very nice TK you have put together there, welcome! :)
  4. You can find it on the very last page of the blaster reference file
  5. Oh, those shins look so symmetrical and sit so flush - stuff I have always dreamed of during my RS build looking good, and soon you will be part of the ranks
  6. Had a brief chat with Tino recently and he told me that @Bulldog44 would be very happy if I shared this little picture with you guys
  7. Hey Wolfgang! Any updates on the armor? It has been pretty quiet in this thread for quite some time, I had to check if I accidentally unfollowed it All good?
  8. Glad you managed to get to Centurion as well we got EIB and Centurion approved pretty much the same week
  9. Cheers Dan! At one point during my build you were the guy who started his blaster build pretty much at the same time as me, and I have followed both your blaster and armour build very closely. At some point I though I might be able to catch up to you - basic member, EI, Centurion, Attaché... Now I'm finally there - and you've managed to get into the detachment staff well, I guess you'll always be one step ahead of me Thanks for everything, your threads (and YouTube videos ) have provided a ton of valuable information for me!
  10. And the ultimate goal has been achieved thanks to everyone who followed me until now and supported me whenever I was in trouble! It feels really weird to know that now is the time where I can't really do more for my TK.. Apart from two smaller adjustments that still need to be done, and maybe one day I might get a DLT-19 if I ever get bored of my trusty E-11 (will probably never happen ). So for now, I am looking forward to lots of troops and I'll also save some money for now - but the next costume is already in sight Thanks for standing by and reading, Freddy

  12. Yaaaaaay, thanks very much I'm planning to repaint the boots as soon as I find more free time, and same goes for the shoulder. But great, now i can finally work on my very own trading card
  13. OOOH yeah true, 13 contains the split rivets I used for the ammo pack!
  14. I had the same problem, so I looked at other builds and just thought about what strapping part I could use where, and I ended up with this list: 1. correct, I used them for my belt boxes, wrapped the whole thing around the belt and secured it with a rivet, and then glued the two bottom ends together and the drop box on top of that 2. also correct, I didn't end up using them because on here I saw lots of velcro solutions that I liked better, but if you want to use this method, you've got the correct parts at hand 3. correct, I replaced the massive buttons in the middle after my first troop because they weren't really sitting secure anymore, so I reinforced the spot with some spare strap and put a new snap in there 4. you might be right there, I can't remember using them for anything specific, I might have just cut them into pieces that I needed (at this point I should probably add that I used the practical popper method and not the original strapping. Not sure if you decided on that already, if not, you should 5. same as 4 6. yup, used them to strap the thighs to the belt (no. 10) but since there was so much of it left afterwards I also used these parts for the inner strapping along the seams between ab and kidney plate 7. didn't end up using them 8. same as 7 9. same as 7 10. correct 11. same as 7 12. same as 7 I hope this has been somewhat helpful, in case you want visual support of my method, this is a pic of my inner strapping: Freddy
  15. Alright friends, as my final trick I just submitted my Centurion application, and the day was also topped off by a birthday cake my girlfriend made me today. Thought I might share a picture of that as well as it's kinda forum-related.. (you can also tell she helped me with lots of my build by the details she managed to put into this cake ) Thanks for reading, thanks for following! Freddy

  17. When the time of primer and glue comes, you know the finish line is closing in fast
  18. Hey Sven, just stumbled across your build, and I can only join my fellow troopers and say you did a really good job so far If you need advice on how to cut the backs of thighs and shins you could have a look at my build if you like, I had the same problem (same goes for the ammo belt, but as I can see you have solved this problem a lot better than me). Not long now and we can welcome another TK to the German Garrison, and it's great to hear you're planning on going the extra mile to EIB and Centurion - from what I saw in your build you're already building towards it, so once you're approved there shouldn't be much that'll need correction. So keep it up!
  19. Well, the Centurion sadly will have to wait a few more days, but this weekend I'll get the pics and the application in, I promise
  20. I remember I screwed up (hah, bad screw pun) this part quite massively, I ended up just glueing the screws into the holes that I made way too big. It's still looking alright, so given the effort that you're putting into this scope it's gonna look fantastic
  21. Well, I managed to get pretty much everything done that was on the "Things to fix before Centurion" list today, and with @justjoseph63's screws arriving just in time I can hand in my Centurion application at last! I hope I can get everything done tomorrow, but since I still have a room to stock that needed floor replacement I can't promise I will be able to stay on schedule. Well, thanks for reading as always! Freddy
  22. Well, this hollowed scope already looks a lot more even than mine. I think this was the part of the blaster build that I stuck with the most time, so keep going! It only gets easier from here
