Yeah, I'm in the market for one. The one I have now is more of a thermal, which makes it much hotter underneath!
Go with Dr Skin on amazon. They are pretty inexpensive and are cooling. I did my pants and tops there, and I went up one size but makes me look silky smooth......in my armor.

I think I am finally done with painting the boots. It took somewhere between 7-9 layers. I lost count at some point.
After how much effort this took I did decide to get some clear protective coating for this. I’ll be going with the same brand Angelus for that. Just to avoid any issues.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkSweet pumped up kicks! Love the paint job!

Also, be careful of breathing in too much E6000. Well ventilated room etc. Just in case. :-)
I love the smell of E6000 in the morning

Don't you worry Big! You can get to centurion!
Important things to note:
Take lots of pictures! Ask lots of questions! There is no such thing as a stupid question even if it has been posted and discussed many times.

Did you bet your armor and let the wookiee win?
Good looking bucket!

I concur with the getting started section

First real of TK club there is no TK club!
Good work on the face plate so far! I like the twinkee teeth

Finally got around to tightening the right ab strap.
I merely added more glue to the strap taking out the slack in it.
Yes I should be wearing my undersuit but it's in the space cleaners and if that's the only gap there with my normal clothes I think that gap will be just fine for centeruion.

Practice brings perfectation! Your build will be just as awesome

I'll have to put that tab in as it definitely will keep them shifting. I still think I need move the strap to make it tighter. I think I'm using the belt to tighten everything together too much

Working on fixing my left ab gap
added a tandy snap as my elastic snap was not going to work at making it tighter and hold as well as it could.
Moved to a nylon strap so it will hold the ab and kidney together better than elastic strap.
I'm not 100% sure how well this will fly for centurion. I can reset the nylon back a bit further and reglue. Opinions?

Good to see another wtf build! Personally I'd trim the teeth a bit more.

per the CRL
Hand Plates - Roughly pentagonal in shape, the hand plates are mounted securely over the back of the glove. As an alternative to plastic, these may be made out of latex or latex-like material.
Ask your GML, they may have a different opinion on what the "mounted securely over the back of the glove" entails

And here is the final result of the painted hand guards next to the ab armor.
Cant beat that comparison and shine

ANOVOS CHANGES???
Good evening everyone! While looking over the kits, I have noticed a couple of changes that Anovos must have recently made. See below...
Belt no longer comes assembled in "hero" configuration. If I'm not mistaken, I should be able to get this right without any modification.
The frown on the helmet looks a little more screen accurate than the previous versions with the teeth not fully painted.
Does anyone else have a kit similar to this form Anovos?
oh they fixed the overspray now did they?

The reason they are bent in Centurion submissions is to show that they are indeed the flexible type.
You mean if lay them flat you can't tell
well cool if cracking is screen accurate then where good to roll

Painted my flexible hand guards that were yellowing.
Used this in white gloss
Applied several light coats
Looks smooth as glass
My question involves submitting the centeruion picture of when I show they are flexible. When I flex the guards the paint breaks
But once done flexing it goes back to almost perfect.
Obviously I want to hit this with another pass of spray paint before attaching them back to my gloves but what would be the best method for submitting this to avoid cracking my paint? I know our handsguards don't flex that much while wearing them.

Sorry I don't mean to hijack but I am having the issue where I cannot open any sub forum but if I click on the last post it will open. That is how I got into here and am able to post. I cannot start new posts either

New thighs (this is also the thicker version - cause why not) and shins. My goal is to better align the backs of the thighs and get a straight cut on the shins.
Best trick I can did was used a ruler after I got my thighs assembled, slid them on and put the shins on. Taped the shins down tight (helps if you have another person though) and line the ruler up with the thigh part and draw your line.

Yeah that smaller button is large, I did mine the same way at first before I went back and trimmed more off.
Easy fix trooper!
