If you’re looking for 501st approval you will need to keep the abdomen section as one piece with the opening in the back meaning the kidney gets split in half and the side seams are to be seamless. The opening in the back gets hidden by the TD so there is room to play with if the abdomen is thight on you.
So they are doing a run? I’m stupid so couldn’t resist the black friday but was considering asking them about a HDPE kit so if they are doing one I’m getting that too...trying to find Newey snaps is proven very difficult though so had my thinking cap on and saw some things reagarding accurate armor so have decided to go with TM for body armor as his moulds are the most accurate to the original armor and he also has the newey fasteners, would really like to find original boots too but who wouldn’t Haven’t decided to build it to wear or for display only - no rush on deciding as I haven’t ordered the armor yet...have to Keep my self down and have a little tighter grip on the wallet and accumulate things over time....yeah that’s totally gonna work....
Then 2" might be easier as Trooperbay sells some AND that would be the "correct" width if shooting for screen accuracy and you beeing a Centurion I courteously frown my nose upon velcro-ing the shoulder bridges in the back
Keep Trooping
Helmet is looking pretty good
I noticed a few things though that possible could make it even better and was just wondering what type of screw you used here? For higher levels (Centurion) ear screws are slotted, flat topped.
And looking at the tube stripes on this side they look a bit wonky, could be the photo but if it´s not then they should be about a pencil width from the cheek.
And if you are going to redo them you might want to look at this thread as it appears you have them reversed. Not a deal breaker when it comes to approval but if you want to make it more accurate
Just got it today so haven´t really tested it, no problem putting on/off with just the glove but I can see some training is requried when in full armor. Glove can´t be too thight to begin with though so I checked that before ordering And I got some lines pre-installed but the great thing is that you can change them out as you like just plugging it in to the computer.....obviosly I have no idea HOW to do it but there´s a manual included so should be able to figure it out...eventually
I DO remember and not to worry, all is well and if you think about it it´s all Rat´s fault, I have tried to aducate him but when it comes to my name...well...HE is but the learner and I am the Master
(not to worry Rat, I still like you just as much)
