  1. Some Stunt brow-reference
  2. I would glue a piece of scrap ABS on the inside and use some paste on the outside with a toothpaste consistency
  3. I keep mine snug around the boot and leg and so far so good, I know some use snaps or velcro to keep them in line and I linked yet another option
  4. Looks great and good job on the weightloss as well
  5. Hi Eddie While reviewing your application we found another issue that we need you to amend for EIB. As per CRL L2: The sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin and as seen below, one side is spot on but the other needs some tweeking. You got this Eddie
  6. One of those rare moments when building Stormtrooper armor and OCD went hand in hand
  7. Could you show the outside if the ”Han-snap? It should be chrome/silver and not gun metal. If so you will need to replace it for Centurion. EIB in fine at the moment but I expect that to change in the near future. And just an FYI the lover snap on the right side isn’t really needed as the belt keep that closed and a bonus by not having it means less hazzle to suit up Other than that - great work
  8. If you are in need of new forearms then TM (troopermaster) is an ideal match for Anovos and he also makes ESB handguards. You find him here or on FB
  9. Yes, the front cover strip should cover as much of the flat joining surface as possible as seen in the reference pics.
  10. Hi again Wayne - let´s get you approved shall we CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present and we like to thank you for making the changes suggested in your EIB application. You have a great looking set of armor and on behalf of the D.O team we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Centurion. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this area we discuss any areas still needing some improvement. Although they did not hold you back from Centurion, at this level it's all about the small details that will really make your armor look it´s best. Let´s dive in! Starting with the helmet and as mentioned, the brow trim could stand to come up a bit as most Stunts had some white showing between the eyes and brow. Next we have the mic tips and we see you replaced the mesh to a more accurate style which is great but you also pushed those a bit to far in as the previous ones so the suggestion to place them closer to the edge remains. If you decide to move them don´t be afraid to scratch the rims as that would only be a good thing as seen in the reference image Moving on to the back plate we suggest you look into the strapping as it appears to be a slight overlap, which is fine but as Centurion is the highest level we wanted to make you aware as we feel this would make your great looking armor even more perfect. Same goes for the belt and by the looks of things it´s as simple as just lifting it up and the pressure against the button plates should hold it but there´s always an option to use velcro if needed. That´s it! As mentioned you already have a great looking set of armor to be proud of and by considering these suggestions you would look even more awesome - welcome to the rank of Centurion
  11. I would advise against using shims for the front. There really is no need and you would be forced to use a very wide cover strip and that simply put won´t look good. If you already decided to shim then you have the great option to do so in the back AND therefore be able to use cover strips with a more Canon look which normally are 20-22mm for the thighs
  12. They don´t need to be functional, here´s what I did for my sons TK for it to be seperable.
  13. Hey Nick I was just wondering, are you going to shim the thighs in the back or the front?
  14. Are you going TFA or TLJ? You can start your build in either of these subforums TFA builds here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/161-tfa-build-threads/ TLJ here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/161-tfa-build-threads/
  15. If you use a hosting site like Imgur you don´t have to
  16. Great job Matt see you at the higher levels
  17. Hi again Eddie, I just wanted to confirm that you will need to clean up the frown for EIB as Joseph mentioned. The other things mentioned are suggestions to improve the look but we don´t need you to fix those unless you want to, I hope you do though Have a great trip and see you when you get back
  18. awesome work
  19. Hi Wayne and thank you for your Centurion application and also for your patience - I will be with you shortly
  20. I know the feeling - let´s not keep you hanging any longer shall we Hi again Lindsey and thank you for your EIB application. In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. As we navigate through this review we are going to start with the helmet and work our way down. Starting with the helmet and we only have two small suggestions for you to consider. First we have the black border on the ear bumps and when looking at screen used helmets the majority are a touch thinner. Secondly we have the frown and for the most part they added an extra tooth, as seen in the reference image. Next up we have some general dressing/allignment suggestions. Idealy the cover strip are center on the limbs and line up so we recommend you reposition the arm pieces to get those red lines to replace the blue. We move on the the ab button plates and the bigger one is spot on The smaller one is pretty close but when looking at screen used it could stand a bit of a shave and apart from beeing even more screen accurate that would reduce the risk of it catching on something and popping off/brake while suiting up. Moving on to the TD clips and here we suggest you try and bend those ends a bit more as there is a "snagging risk" and for, you guessed it, beeing more acreen accurate if that´s your preference The TDs also, from what we know, had the screws closer to the ends which would help in getting the clip more flush but then you would have to buy another set of clips, we figured it was woth mentioning none the less. We stay on target with the TD and suggest you use some brute force (not really as it bends very easily) and bend it sligtly downwards. Moving down to the legs we suggest the same as for the arms - alligne those cover strips for a nice clean look. Just a little something - see if you can hide that rebel-foam from interfering with you looking awsome. Finally we have the blaster and it´s looking great but there seem to always be a "but" and in this case we feel that the scope has a tad to much brass showing when compared to screen used ones BUT as all the other things mentioned so far that is totally up to you That´s it for EIB! Congratulations and welcome to the ranks Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. As per CRL there should be a minmal gap between the shoulders and the chest/back plate and currently there is a bit to much of a gap. It looks like you could get the bells closer to the bicep and it also looks like you pulled your arms/shoulders backwards in this photo, keeping the arms neutral and at the sides will also help achieve that sleek ANH-look. If you have enough material left, trimming the bells with a curve as seen in the reference images would also help. Next we have the back plate and it´s somewhat of a grey area at the moment. From the sides with arms up it looks great (perhaps the shoulders came up) but from the back it appears there is some overlap so we can´t say for sure that this is something you´ll need to fix but we recommend you look into this. Although we like to see a no overlap scenario, minimal overlap is allowed so perhaps all is good. Moving on we feel that the rivets are in need of some touching up so bring out some white paint Trooper. Next we and the CRL want you to get those drop boxes to alligne at the ends of the ammo belt. A dab of glue and they will stay put. Last item to sort on your quest for Centurion and the most challenging one would be to straighten that sniper knee. Brute force and alot of clamps or to offset the shin itself are two common ways but we suggest you look at some other AP builds to see how they tackled this part That´s it - head on out and make the Empire proud as it´s newest Expert Infantry man
  21. TM (troopermaster) is a great color match for Anovos and you find him here or on FB
  22. I have a lovely pink one for my TD
  23. Hi Eddie and thank you for your EIB application and also for your patience - I will be with you shortly
