Hi, Dhivesh,
Welcome to the FISD! If there is anything you need to know about white armour, here is the place you will find it!
As was mentioned earlier, your local 501st Garrison is the Southern Cross http://501scg.com/forum . We have a heap of members in and around Sydney. Join up on the forum, and come and enjoy the fun and games of the 501st Legion.

Happy Birthday, mate. Have a fantastic day!!!
-
And if we imbibed a little too much beer we would have a good use for the final FX before its disposal.
Yep.
-
1, replace then burn every FX lid on the planet.
2, Purchase every FX lid mold on planet and destroy them, publicaly and preferably at a Celebration type event.
I'd use some of my extreme richness to come and watch, then buy you a beer or 2
-
Then, my gift to myself would be a Bugatti Varon, 1970 Hemi Barricuda (plum crazy pistol grip white ragtop) and for the family trips to the store the new Benz E class AMG.
A man of class needs nothing more...
-
I would give a quarter of my money to Joss Whedon to do with as he chose.
Then, I would buy a Boss 302 Mustang, a 426 Hemi Charger, a Corvette Stingray, and a Wild Violet Phase 3 GTHO Falcon with 8 track player and factory sunroof. Then, I'd take my Garrison to any event they wanted to go to.
Oh, I'd buy some costumes as well...
-
Paul, it was just fracking awesome being there.

Ok, I'm one of the shortest troopers in the Legion, and I was in the 3rd row...
Perfection is hard to achieve

I know people are going to hate me, but I have to say it: WHY did you put all those FX troopers in front? With FX lids even...
It was shortest troopers to the front...
Paul, thanks for getting us untrained chaos creatures in order. I'm glad you aren't my drill sergeant...

CV was the biggest, best 501st time I've ever had. The most 501st members I've ever seen in the one place is about 20, so having 80 odd TK's marching up the middle of the massive CV corridor was amazing. Thanks to all that took part.
No matter what anybody says, Stormtroopers ARE the Emperors Elite troops!!
Rock on, brothers and sisters!!

Yep, weathered is good.

Hi Nick, looks like you found the FISD before you found the SCG!!
Mate, this is the home of all things "White Armour". Have a good read through here. If it isn't here, it probably doesn't matter . You've got my email addy, if you want anything explained, give me a yell
-
Hi Bill,
Sooooooooo, we meet again!
welcome to the FISD!!
-
Hey Muppet, welcome mate, and congrats on the Garrison
-

Holy smokes - you did all this in 2 weeks? ::whistles::2 weeks? C'mon J, are you slowing up in your dotage?

From what I have read across the net, there will a be a new version of the V-8 interceptor that is supposedly cobbled together from other wrecked inteceptors.
If you look closely at the Youtube video that I posted, the black inteceptor that is sitting there in the background is the new one for Fury Road. It has different light covers, back with the original black rims and is missing the bronze sheild logo on the side at the front of the doors. I guess Max went car shopping at the post apocalyptic pre-owned car lot and got himself another hot ride. I hope he did a car fax report on it.
Maybe he got it off of Ebay.
One wonders how they would cobble together a car from wrecked cars which there was only one of?
The original black coupe ( which is not actually the interceptor, that was the yellow XB four door that Max was driving at the start of the movie. It has "Interceptor" written across the bootlid in big white letters. ) was cobbled together from bits and pieces they found around the place. There was only one of them.
One of the gents in our Garrison knows someone who has been working on the film. All of the cars are built, and in storage. The film is supposedly set between Mad Max I. and II. The Black coupe is supposed to be a transition between the shiny car from I, and the almost wreck with the long range tanks of II.

I love my scratch built PVC E-11, but with a real scope, real hengstler, and real sterling folding stock, the bugger is way too heavy. I'm getting old, and have tennis elbow in both elbows... It stays holstered pretty much all the time. I'd love to have a Hyperfirm, but I just can't get one in to the country.

Just back from seeing Avatar. Totally awesome!
The animation was brilliant. I forgot about it completely. The 3D effects were at times a bit too much, but I'm old, I'm not a fan of heights, and my eyesight isn't that good, so I'll forgive it for that.

Going to IMAX on Sunday. Looking forward to it

That's all i have to say in this thread other than the good lord gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason.
*sigh*
Indeed.
I've watched this thread since it started. I've not known if I should laugh or cry.
Does the FISD have a Sainthood award? I believe some should be handed out.

Dave, I've got the mag, the D-ring and the T-track you need, but I don't have the front nozzle thingie. You don't need to grind off the T-tracks that are there, just cover the spots that are vacant.
-
Dave, great work, you are almost there!
-
Hey Amanda, welcome to the FISD! Good to see you here
