Have you tried your local house paint supplier or hardware store ? Profesional house painters use canvas drop sheets to protect your carpet and furniture and stuff . You can pick up a 12' x5' , medium weight , natural colour canvas drop sheet for about $15 AU ( what's that , about $10 US?) here in Oz . More than big enough to make a heap of belts

Hehe , I was cutting the frown teeth out of my bucket today ! I did pretty much what 8280 said , I drilled a couple of very small holes and filed away . Although it took a while , it's very hard to get out of control and do damage with a hobby file . Go to your local hobby store and buy yourself a set of files , they are really handy to have around

Thanks for the warm welcome !! It's a pleasure to be here I really should have joined up here and read through the threads before I bought anything , but you live and learn .
Woppo , I've been lurking on the TAG forum for a while , but joined up tonight
Thanks again ,
Dave .

Hello all , I'm David , I come from Austalia , and I love white armour !!
I've been lurking around here for a couple of months , reading and learning . I purchased a set of fibreglass TK armour about 4 months ago , and joined up here shortly afterwards . I didn't want to post anything untill I had it all up and running , you guys are a fairly tight brother(person) hood and i didn't feel entitled to join in until I could don my own white armour
Turns out that the kit I bought was a piece of rubbish . I'm not that big , but nothing fits . It's all too small , It's not very well moulded , and it's also a b**ch to glue together . I've now bought myself an FX kit , and I know it's not the best , but it's a start . It should be ready to go soon , then I can join my local 501st garrison !
Anyway , I couldn't help but start posting . I've learnt a lot from reading these hallowed pages . Thanks for all the info , and the entertainment !!!

*adds name to list of beggars *
Tony , they are fantastic ! I'm just building my first TK kit , and although it's only an FX kit , your aerators would really make the difference . The ones that come with it are fairly ordinary . Yours are great !!
Ignore the nay-sayers !!

Hi guys , long time lurker , first time poster !
If you have a closer look at the trooper next to R2 , his straps are the same colour as his holster ( like we assume is normal ) . Probably a case of using whatever they had on hand ? A quick and dirty field replacement on set ?

Welcome Dave !!
Read through as much of this place as you can . I bought armour before I'd read enough , and now I have a box of junk sitting in the garage . I've now read a whole heap more , and I'm the proud owner of some shiny white armour !!
Whitearmour is a valuable resource . Use it well
