I think I'm about a week ahead of you with my build. Got my kit from Jim last week and at the priming and sanding stage. Scottish weather is about as good as yours so I have the same issues for painting. Good luck with your build [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ensi's FOTK Build (Jimmiroquai) [PICTURE HEAVY]
Tee-Kay Fisto replied to Ensi's topic in TFA Build Threads
Thanks for the info Daniel. I'll get a tent ordered. I have a massive list of things to order, from wet & dry paper to filler and fibreglass repair kit and beyond. Safety gear is all there already (courtesy of my employer [emoji6] ) I'll try and get my thread up and running before armour arrives to give myself a head start (I'll need it as we are doing a Jawa for wife at the moment too). Never enough time to do far too many things [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Ensi's FOTK Build (Jimmiroquai) [PICTURE HEAVY]
Tee-Kay Fisto replied to Ensi's topic in TFA Build Threads
Hey Daniel. I am stealing so much from your build for my own when all my stuff arrives. Deposit paid for armour so hopefully Jim will be casting soon. Gaskets ordered from Geeky Pinks gaskets on FB. I will be starting a thread soon asking lots of questions but for now I have one for you if you don't mind. You said you were doing much of your painting in a tent. Absolute genius move and I'm thinking that I will have to do the same due to horrible Scottish weather. I have been looking at the upright changing/shower tents but don't know if they would be large enough and just wondered what size of tent you used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I had seen this technique discussed several times across many different threads but this is brilliant. Thanks for putting this out there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ensi's FOTK Build (Jimmiroquai) [PICTURE HEAVY]

This is a fantastic build. I've just started researching FOTK builds of Jim's kit as I'm about to pull the trigger on buying one. Anovos obviously did their usual and started with their first of probably many delays of the FOTK kit. This is going to be a goldmine of information for me. Thanks for putting together such a great thread. And congratulations on taking your first build into the legion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Has anyone purchased a blaster from this guy?

Hi Ted Had a root around and found the electronics. I was right about them being on the quiet side but you could probably fit a louder speaker. Blaster sound with red lights Stun sound with blue lights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
^ ^ ^ ^. This. I've Han a couple of sets from Roy ( wannawanga ) and they are great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has anyone purchased a blaster from this guy?
Tee-Kay Fisto replied to Shinyarmour1's topic in General Weapons Discussion
Have only tested the electronics when they arrived, which is ages ago now. They are in one of the boxes of blaster parts that I keep adding to promising myself that I will start a blaster build this weekend, no next weekend, no next weekend, no next weekend. I'll have a dig around and give them another test for you Ted. If I remember correctly I thought they were a little bit on the quiet side but I will confirm this week. I'm working nights so please bear with me bud [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

ANOVOS (DENUO NOVO) FOTK Armor Delivery Possibility
Tee-Kay Fisto replied to JonnieBear's topic in TFA Stormtrooper
I would love this to be shipped on time and you would think that Disney would want a load of FO troopers out and about in time for EPVIII hitting the cinema. Here's hoping -
A small update. No closer to actually turning this into a build thread as time is still against me but ordered another set of t-tracks from Roy which arrived today. These will go on the sterling. I have the feeling the sterling conversion is going to be the first thing I tackle to get my blaster mojo burning again. Not going to post a picture of these as they are exactly the same as the first pictured above somewhere Hope to have more to post soon and hopefully it will be a bit more interesting. Cheers for now. Yeah I had to do that too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
To be honest I don't know how much the screws were. I contacted Chris directly and asked him to quote me for the parts with postage and he gave me a bulk price. I haven't seen him listing them on any of his sales sites yet. Sorry mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Christian. Just read through your conversion thread and IT is the awesome one.

Thanks Chris. I read your thread on many occasions. Just wish I could have been as organised as you. That goes for your armour build as well. I don't know if I will weather this one or not. My thought is to leave it as a standard for my future builds that way I can track my abilities via the medium of blasters I've ordered a Sheartech rubber blaster for trooping so this one will be the first one displayed.

Novak Dimon's Sterling-Conversation
Tee-Kay Fisto replied to Novak Dimon's topic in ANH BlasTech E11
WOW I've only just found your build Christian and I'm blown away. This is exactly the kind of information that I have been looking for for my upcoming sterling conversion. I have already made my scope rail according to your template, so thank you for that. Excelent work. -
I've never done a doopy pipe kit but from the look of it there are only a couple of pieces that would be affected by the smaller ID, the bolt and the muzzle. I have heard of people trimming/sanding the back (unseen side) of the bolt to allow it to fit inside thick wall 40mm OD pipe. The muzzle should only need sanded a little to allow it to insert into the end of the pipe. Everything else fixes to the outside and have already been profiled to suit the diameter. The thicker pipe will be stronger and will allow for the drilling and cutting of all the holes better. Do a bit of searching on here and I'm sure you will find someone's thread showing how they have done it. Hope this helps you Craig Remember to start a build thread for your blaster and ask as many questions as you need. You will find that everybody will be happy to help you.

Thanks Brian. I'll obviously show more detail of the scopes when it comes time to start building. I wish I could get a couple of weeks off work to just get stuck into the pipe build. I'm hoping the sterling conversion wont take too long, it's only sticking a couple of things onto a gun right? At least I wont have to risk damaging any of my blasters once built as I've just ordered a rubber blaster for trooping with.

Well Hello There (said in my best Obi-Wan voice) It's been a while since I stopped in to update on my ever growing pile of lovely, lovely blaster parts. Got my Armour approved, took it to EIB then up to Centurion level. Then I had to get the electonics in my lid finished for my induction troop. All done now and I'm now a fully functioning TK. Got more bits to show so decided to post them all together. I have been watching Brian (Bulldog44) creating his amazing replica resin scopes and decided to treat myself when his latest run opened. I'm sorry to say that I was a little bit greedy and ordered two of his M38 scopes. I was on vacation when they were shipped to me so I had a longer wait than I wanted to get my hands on them. It was WELL worth the wait. I cannot compliment Brian highly enough on these or recommend them highly enough for anyone thinking about a blaster build. Amazing M38 scopes from Brian (Bulldog44) by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr I took one out of the (amazing) packaging that Brian has put together for them for a little look, but put it all back together again until build time. I'll probably go back to Brian in the future for one of his M19 scopes too, I just always preferred the look of the M38 but I suppose variety is the spice of life as they say. That's in the future as at the moment I have more scopes than blaster projects. Does that mean that I HAVE to build more? I have also been watching Chris (Fieldmarshall) do fantastic things with his attempt to completely recreate a blaster mostly out of aluminium. His attention to detail on this project is spectacular. I ordered a few things from him to boost my parts haul. Lovely new bits from Chris (Fieldmarshall) by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr Scope and muzzle screws by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr Spring set by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr A pair of powercells by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr Shape B powercells by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr As with the parts from Brian I took these out, had a wee look and put them all away again, but I am so impressed with the quality of all the parts. I'm really not doing myself any favours by assembling such an array of top quality parts as I now have to put them all together in a way that does each and every one of them justice. Why did I do this to mysely? Really please someone tell me why? The list of parts I still need to order is shrinking, but my workload is ever increasing I don't know when my next update will be as I need to thoroughly sort out what I have as it is all spread around the house at the moment. Then I'll try and get the last (Hahaha) of my parts ordered. Then the hard work will begin. Once again, thanks for dropping by my friends Brian

You said it. I'm actually afraid to calculate how much I've spent on blasters in the past 18 months since I bought my first doopydoo kit. I will eventually document all the parts and prices and sellers for all the parts I've bought and make sure the wife doesn't see it [emoji6] I have one more set of t-tracks to order for my sterling and maybe a completion kit from Tino just in case. Then that's it ........ maybe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
