1. Nice armour! Don't think i've seen a femtrooper in that style before.

Wish my missus was interested in the whole thing, she'd be getting that kit for sure!
2. When's your birthday again?
3. Do you not still have the ABS belt that was supplied with the kit? I used that for coverstrips.
4. Think you might have broken the UKG forum... It's down?
5. Hmm... The missus would walk in just as the woman next door was connecting my codpiece Not worth it
6. Ach, me too lol. The missus is off on Friday, so I might get an assistant for photos then
7. Yeh, I was hoping that the pics i'd already submitted, plus the pics of adjustments would be enough. No worries, it just gives me another excuse to kit-up at the weekend for more pics
8. Yeh, some places on the insides of the thighs etc had the little tell-tale bobbles of fused ABS.
9. Just an update on this thread... My "Work in progress" thread over on the UKG has been running for a while ( I suppose the same as a 'build thread', on here. I'm getting there, slowly but surely. Some things like glueing and coverstrips on the limbs make a huge difference. Here are a couple of pics to let you see how the dreaded SDS armour is looking... A couple of changes were made after these pics, like removing cover strips off the shin ridges, but hopefully I'm not far away
10. Is a memorial remembrance in order? I'm more than happy to send a few ££s if the 501st wants to collect?
11. I'm assuming most folks will choose their birthday, some other cool-looking digits.

For a while now, i've been considering a tattoo... This may be my perfect chance to combine my want for a stormtrooper tattoo, and my daughter's birth date (hopefully my new TK number) in one image.

Interested to hear your ID origins
12. So sad - she looked no age
My sincere condolences.
13. What about a 'cheater' style leather sling? Basically a leather belt with a loop either end to loop round the blaster, front and rear. You wouldn't need to attach any new hardware to blaster.
14. Weird, I've just been looking at this!

http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32748-thermal-detonator-construction-dimensions/?hl=%2Bdetonator+%2Bdimensions
15. Yeah, definitely worthwhile investing in some good quality drill bits
16. Will the square mouldings not sit ok over them? If not, you could always drill them out.

I used chigago screws on mine, so they can be removed easily if necessary.
17. That's a breathtaking build! Oh to have such skills!
18. Hi bud ( An awful lot of Marks on here, aren't there?? ) A little frustrating, but i'm sure I'll get there. This list was removed from The UKG forum by a mod, and apparently won't be put back on. A shame, really, as I'm just trying to give a bit of clarity to existing and future SDS owners. Maybe some folks have been put off because they weren't sure exactly what they needed to do for approval, I dunno.
19. Hey, from memory, I drilled the rivets out using a decent DeWalt HSS drill bit. You may not have to do all the items on the list, depending on where you are?
20. It's all "covered" But thanks again for the offer
