  1. This advice is absolutely right. Even though some of the CRL pics do show an inner seam it clearly states that other than the "one seam on the side that faces forward" the "rest of the bicep must be seamless". So do what it says rather than what you see and then there is no question. Splits and seams are more than likely to feature as part of the upcoming Level 2 / 3 builds.
  2. All approved Anovos kits would have the inner seam as that is how they were built. It’s actually an overlap but usually lines up very nicely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. What a great team effort. Just as it should be! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Could even be a screw or something similarly detailed?
  5. An dI should say the spats seem to apply to both FOTJ and FOJE.
  6. I wish I wasn’t [emoji57] lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. With some rudimentary outlining the TLJ spats look a little deeper on the front. Less of a arc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Looks great Daniel! Deadening the bucket interior with black is such a worthwhile mod for so many reasons. And with a tote that size you should get EVERYTHING in it including bucket and blasters. It means no extra bags. I love mine! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Tony...I’m talking spats not shins. Looks like a re-design as with Phasma’s ankle set-up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Spats! On closer inspection they look a little wider at the front. Thoughts? Executioner... TLJ FOTK TFA... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. The good news is there should be some actual kits sighted up-close-and-personal in the next few weeks so we can only hope valuable feedback will make its way back here
  12. Great boots indeed. You'll want to keep the zipper nicely oiled. If they're like earlier versions it gets a little stiff. Also, do all you can to line the bottom of your shins as the leather gets worn pretty easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. ---------------- I believe the first cast should be out in a few weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Lazy indeed. Nowhere near as accurate as the TDK Props bucket. IMHO the best looking out there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. The Anovos TFA bucket was approvable 'out of the box' so one assumes this will be the same when released.
  16. This makes most sense. With the TFA kits we all know that depending on the image viewed and how well the kit fit the wearer, the inside seam either overlapped horribly or lined-up nicely - with or without gaffer tape to assist Also, with our Judicial friend it could be possible it's a stunt kit that has been modified for movement in the same way that FN-2199 has no CommPad on his wrists so we could wield the baton.
  17. I should but the guys here in AU at TDK Props are doing some amazing work on theirs
  18. Hi Sebastien Good to see you're continuing your journey with the First Order. It looks unlikely that soft parts will be different for the Executioner to TLJ FOTK so you'll find most of what you need in the current FO Resource List here on FISD. For gaskets you need to decide whether it's rubber or cloth. If the latter I would highly recommend you loom at Teresa's excellent work. She is Soulart here on the boards and known as Geeky Pinks Phantastic Gaskets on Facebook. She can also assist with a neck seal. Personally, I own a Jim v4 kit and love it. Sure it's a different build experience to ABS but very easy to work with. There are a few bucket vendors out there currently. My pick of the TLJ buckets in the making would be TDK Props based in Melbourne, Australia. Looks to be the most accurate and the way they are designing it it should be a breeze to paint. You can find them on Facebook and other sites. Shout out if you need any other assistance
  19. Isn't the general consensus that the First Order insignia on the shoulder bells is light grey rather than silver?
  20. Yep...that one you gotta keep clean for sure. I wipe it every few sprays. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. I have probably two pieces of Velcro on my whole fibreglass kit. Mostly magnets, snaps and buckles. We recently did a Phasma using Velcro and buckles. Seems to work ok. Let me know if you want any info
  22. You just never know what you're going to get as each pull is different. A little frustrating but if there's one thing I've learnt on this journey, repairs and maintenance feel as ongoing as the build! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. Mate...you've had a bad run with that ab but you've totally nailed the restoration - great job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Terrific! Any reason not to have to use XTC-3D and sand, sand, sand is a win [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
