  1. Probably our first full length look at the TLJ FOTK. Check out that overlap on the thigh!!!
  2. I actually have one waiting for me to collect! I just haven't had time to go get it. No-one else has taken the measurement yet. BTW...what was your secret to getting the black painted curve on the bucket so nicely done? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I guess the pics don't do the colour justice. We've been doing a lot of comparison work on sizing. It's far from straightforward! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Ahhh, the joys of painting [emoji57] Frustrating. Happens to all of us but easily fixed. You've got this [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. This is an approach many of us are taking. You might not even need a spare a TD if you can temporarily cover the end cap so it is all black. Some aerosol caps are a perfect fit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Have you considered buying directly from either Jimmiroquai or KB Props? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. As I've said on Facebook Kit...this must be a world first! You should be proud. I've shared your excellent work with a few here on FISD. Definitely switch out your white FO emblem for a grey as an upgrade. What size did you run with ... current thinking is 2.25" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Exciting times! There are certainly a few FOTKE's in the works. I'm working on mine as an alternate to my standard FOTK. Will be interesting to see how many are formally approved to troop at a local level until an offical CRL is created.
  9. Love my UA HeatGear Tactical Hood. So light, so breathable. It's never wet post troop. Invaluable, I say. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. The Heston blaster has been around for quite some time and whilst there were some early teething problems it seems the product (and service) has only improved with time. For $99 you're looking st a great deal! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. I bought that for my son yesterday. By the time it arrived he might be the first FOTKE in Australia [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. The end cap is ALL black. No white band. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Bucket Black Yoke arms Black shoulder Bells with grey FO emblem (I reckon 2.75 - 3" - anyone else?) Black TD cap (possibly slightly extended too?)
  14. I think it's fair to say the only company using the term 'Judicial' is the Disney Store. The only thing they sell with 'Executioner' in it is the Pop Vinyl which, of course, is made by another company. I guess they are sensitive to the word 'Executioner' Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Yep. There is also adhesive neoprene that is used for sound proofing car but but usually available in white. The draft excluder is gold. That rubbing point you gave us the same for me on Jim's kit - right in the centre of the ab about halfway down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Daniel ... this is draft excluder. You'll recall I used the rubber version under my pauldron for protection [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. The knee plate mod is essential - as you've discovered. Velcro alone is not suitable on this kit and you end up with Phasma knees [emoji23] You'll find the addition of the elastic just keeps them oriented and, well, on!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Not at all. Kit has done an amazing job with limited reference material. He's a world first in my eyes [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Only small things, e.g. the emblems on the bells should be grey rather than white. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Standing by [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. I had a saying during my build..."Progress is progress". Every little step gets you in the right direction [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. Jim's kit is great for modding. The flexible fibreglass cuts beautifully! You have an inch or so that you can trim/shape at the top of the thigh and a little around the bottom of the thigh. You just need to e careful to measure the space required for the holster so you don't cut too much. The shins are also easily adaptable.
  23. And for fun one of me with the new guy [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  25. Paul's prop work is terrific. Quality is the name of the game. This build has been coming along nicely and it looks outstanding. I'm looking forward to seeing the final result [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
