  1. It helps if you can dislocate your shoulder [emoji23] I use magnets! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. The CommsPad has the small black square at the bottom rather than the top. Not sure about the TB decal sheet being good for all. I’ve always thought the KB chest pill holes looked smaller than other kits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Going along nicely! Whose decals did you end up running with?
  4. It’s a fairly straightforward repaint if you have the time and interest. What’s more you can colour match the bucket to your kit...unless you’re not expecting to paint your kit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I’ve no doubt you’ll nail this build. Your goal is very achievable. I’ll be here cheering you on [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  8. Here’s the NYCC video featuring Norm as the FOTK... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. I love my magnet set-up. Works a charm. I would love to kit up solo but, honestly, I reckon I manage about 85% before I need help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Welcome to the First Order! The FOJE is proving to be a popular build. I haven’t worked with the kit from KB Props so others will be better qualified to advise. All I’ll say is have fun and I’m looking forward to the build [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Great bucket mod, Taylor! The MTK pauldron is awesome. Consider making it a little larger using a plastic sign. I did that recently and also used black leather for a lux finish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Thanks Kit! Hopefully it won’t be too long [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Looking good mate! Sanding on the road...that might get be a first [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. TBH I haven’t given it a lot of thought yet. I won’t be going full build until mid-October. I’ll update once I’ve decided but, for now, you could follow Andy’s suggestion above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Great start! Looking forward to the build. I love my UnderArmour HeatGear Tactical Hood. Lightweight and very breathable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Thanks Glen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Thanks Andy. Delighted it is of use. Shout out if you have any questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Great start Andy! I suspect you’ll have this nailed in n time [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. I’m going rattle can so I’ll have FOTK and then FOJE separates. I’m waiting on the bucket to be able to make real progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Having had my Jimmiroquai FOTK approved in June this year I am looking to modify the kit with spares so that I can alternate between the FOTK and FOJE for future troops. Having been researching and sharing information extensively for some time I have started to acquire the necessary parts for the upgrade. Jimmi was quick to respond to my call for new parts and within a week I received new shoulder bells and yoke... And I"ve been toying with sizing for a new TD end cap using the lid of a spray oil can - yet to be painted black!... Not much more work will take place for a week or so owing to a large Con here in Sydney and a few other FOTK commitments. Hope to share more soon
  21. Here’s a left spat comparison. Still far from conclusive but TLJ still looks slightly wider. Worth noting these images are all taken from licensed promo images for comparison. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. No worries.!I’ll get you a left foot comparison. New trailer in two weeks but who knows what we’ll see! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. I've always thought it looks like the end cap fits in to a small recess. Could explain the black surround, as if the inner rim of the recess is painted black.
  24. VaderPainter Studios do TFA lenses. I know they can be found via his FB Page and possibly even eBay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. Painting the interior black is a great mod on any bucket. It helps deaden the environment. It helps with reflection as mentioned. Having s darkened space also brings more focus to what you see through the lens. In addition, when combined with your neck seal and a balaclava it means little kids looking-up don’t just see a face in s bright white bucket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
