Try imgur its quite easy to upload pics using that

just turn your thighs around so the coverstrips are facing straight forward, the curve of the back of the thigh will line up with your buttplate

RS helmet build "mr no stripes"
MrSnrub replied to MrSnrub's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
i took my helmet screws apart and riveted it together to seal the look of my helmet as the left side from the views had this weird thing with the tube goin on and had to settle for a crooked brow like these guys to sort it, i got my paints and got a light coat of grey so its easy for me to clean up, ill get a second nice coat and follow my lines, next post will be finished bucket i need to replace the ears and cut them flat, i followed the the lines drawn on the helmet at the beginning,i have asked for a new right ear i might get a new one so i can fix the gap a bit and cut it flat, i might adjust the brow a bit too -

Is Level 3 Certification too ambitious?
MrSnrub replied to darthanael's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
Yea i get waht u mean veter eddie for storages its not very convienient ,i had to take the foam star out of my helmet and chop it in half and trim it, as im quite tall, with the cracks it always helps to trim the return edge down a bit more, using whatever works best for yourself is always the way to go -
lol ------------

this happened to me, you have rs right? you could ask them for some more nuts, brakcets and screws.
-
finally got around to doing it and ended up just ca gluing (easy to remove and adjust as the glue doesn't bond elastic to plastic to well holds good tho!)) 1inch elastic to each side of the shin, that goes under my foot, works perfect!

just build a new kit, that armor looks quite outdated, you wont regret getting a more accurate kit, it IS worth to spent a little more, take a look through the centurion threads at the different armors

ATA Armor Build_My First TK
MrSnrub replied to russellr2d2's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I got some cracks around my chest return edge it really helps to make rhe return edge smaller it looks like you have almost a centometre of return edge you could reduce to quite a bit it helps with the flexibility so much -

level 2 and 3 are effectively how screen accurate your costume is, building to centurion from the beginning is very easy, and is what most people usually do, im sure you will have no problem achieving centurion Nate, with all the help and info you have here on the fisd, feel free to start a build thread and post many photos and questions once your BBB arrives! -

RS helmet build "mr no stripes"
MrSnrub replied to MrSnrub's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
moved the ears up a millimetre or two, and i got rid of all the squeaking when handling the helmet i think i may tweak the left ear (viewers pov) but for now I'm happy, also the brow is able to be moulded to where i want it as its quite tight, i can get a lot of varied out of it lol. still waiting on paints and stencils from trooper bay -

Go with RSprops if ur thinking about shepperton, Shepperton is just a recasted return Of the jedi suit modified to ANH, andrew ainsworth didnt sculpt anything in the movies hes just a liar and fraud taking credit for others work, rs however is endorsed by the origional sculptor of the armour and cast from an origional suit, TM is annother amazing armor set, and plenty more 100 times better than SDS as everyone else said check pit the getting started section

hey neighbor across the ocean, always fun to see rs builds, it can be a tricky but movie screenshots are your best friend, aside from the mountain of information already on the fisd, oh, and everyone here of course!

ESB TK/ WIP, westpalm fl
MrSnrub replied to Vader2015's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Great choice on the rs kit,did you also get their strapping pack? be sure to post lots of pics and questions as it can be quite a tricky kit to assemble helmet looks good ,you could cut the eyes back a little more. That webbing behind the frown looks a bit thick would be a good idea to get somethin thinner fir more breathability such as mesh or pantyhose lol -
Stephen's RS ANH stunt build WIP (for small people)
MrSnrub replied to Gwithian's topic in ANH Build Threads
hey matt, the hooks are a fine method, never had them catch on my undersuit before, but i have on my cotton socks, easy to avoid. if you get a commission from RS and the hooks aren't a great fit, it would be no problem to pull them out and put them back in at an appropriate place.
