any particular reason you want a 3 piece lid? there will most likely be a seam on the helmet, best off with a 2 piece as its faithful to the original and alot easier to work with but i am unsure as where to find a 3 piece helmet kit im sure an expert will chime in

i was messing with my helmet today as i cant keep my fingers off it, i started the helmet first in my build ( which is complete except from missing pieces from rs, bad timing too as they seemed so damn busy and took weeks to reply) and lets just say i screwed up a couple of times, ok a lot of times, and im trying to work best with what i have i got it riveted up today and noticed this gap, is there anyway to reduce it without removing the rivets, the brow was clamped on both eye hole so i dont know why this side ended up with a gap, looks great from every other angle tho lolp and the other didn't, all help appreciated!

Rs props(abs) ANH stunt build with Mr Snrub
MrSnrub replied to MrSnrub's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
well i gave up on this thread as i couldn't be bothered, i really wish i had made a build thread now but i couldnt figure out how to post pictures, i kept getting error messages, my mistakes are made and easily fixed (getting some replacement inner forearms and a left shoulder bell, these were cut incorrectly, but hey its an easy fix heres how it turned out, for a first build i am really happy with it, i didn't have a lot of fun unfortunately as i rushed it quite a bit and didnt really know what i was doing, excited to do a new build one day as ill have a good idea of what to do, i kind of found all the information i needed after i finished the pieces, haha going for centurion on this build, should be no problem for reference to the rs armor i am 185cm and about 74kgs just waiting on the fabric belt from rs, and i'm going to add the sniper plate onto the left shin this weekend, they forgot to send it so they sent that and the missing drop boxes and my holster that i just bought...but they forgot to send the fabric belt, LOL so i asked them to just send it with the replacement parts..such a bummer lol oh well, also i have no idea why my picture is bigger than the deathstar, my phone seems to take gigantic pictures for some reason, also took me a while to get the picture to work -

elastic loops for brackets, sewn or glued?
MrSnrub replied to MrSnrub's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
thanks! i guess ill be taking a trip to my grandmas house tonight to use her sewing machine haha, with the length of the loops would it be a good idea to just cut them out all a 4 inches giving me 9 total loops or should i size them to each bracket and cut? -
are they sewn or glued, my rs assembly kit came with one 36" long piece of elastic, since there are 9 connections to make i figure the loops are 4 inches each, but that seems a bit too long, could someone please clear this up a little for me? thank you!

hey thanks i've seen this picture before, so it is ok for the 10mm mark to be in the middle of the rivet?
-
i measured 5.5cm between each hole i am going to drill 10mm from the side, now i drilled on the 10mm mark, before i go any further is this right? for some reason it will only let me upload 3.75kb of files! that is stupid, so for now i cant post a picture, if anyone could post a picture of a correct one with a ruler next to it that would be great, thanks

never mind i figured it out pretty easy, just removed the front coverstrip and realigned no problem! i love e6000!
-
i got my thighs finished and then i was looking at a screenshot i realized i had aligned the bottom instead of the top of the right thigh, i have already installed the ammo knee thing with cap rivets, should i take it apart and correct it? the glue on the thighs has already cured as its been 24 hours, its only e6000, but the cap rivets, i have no idea how to remove them, all help is appreciated!
