looks pretty good to start... I would deepen the eyes a little for the mold. some people like the deeper eye sockets... also maybe make sure the top is a little taller. some people prefer a larger gap between the brow trim and eyes, another inch or two would give more flexibility for others if you plan on selling in the future...

hey looking to see if you guys can upload pics of how/what you did to connect the kidney plate and the abd. plate on the sides, not sure of how im going to do it and theres not alot of info i could find about it... pics of the inside would help also... this is my first build, it looks like itll be close on if they touch on the sides... i have a 34 waist. not sure if they have to touch or can there be a gap? im not really focused on getting centurion on this build just something that is reputable. ill definitely be building another down the road to be completely screen accurate. thanks

I'm about to buy a kit ands wondering the durability of the hips kits? i know abs will be stronger but is the hips really flimsy and can you noticeably tell the difference just by looking. also the hips is thinner according to most i have talked to, that is also a small concern as far as durability and the ability to form the cut areas and edges.. let me know if I'm wrong or just nervous regarding my first build... just don't wanna get into something and have to redo it all in 5 months because of its look/feel... thanks john

I've seen a few different inserts for helmet padding, harnesses and what looks like actual padding from a motorcycle helmet... Just wondering what everyone has in there bucket, what seems to work well, what doesn't, etc... And with fans and voice boxes what fits everything... Post some pics if you have any.... Thanks

i have found abs armor although most seems to be recasts or ive been told not to buy from ebay or other online marketplaces so its hard to find reputable gear without exactly knowing everything that I need to know, as far as who and where to go... but thanks for some more contacts, I will see how they go... john

just wondering what everybody thinks of the fiberglass gear out there, is it approved and acceptable gear for the 501st? ive been looking at the site for awhile now and I am not a member of the 501st but am looking to get into it. Finding gear seams to be pretty difficult with all the wait times currently and was wondering if these fiberglass kits are any good? I've contacted a few Armor makers that are allowed and common through this site and the waiting list is almost a year or like 1600 bucks... any suggestions on gear currently available would be appreciated... ive contacted ATA, RS... also not against getting a set of used gear if anyone is looking for some extra cash to buy TFA gear when it comes out... john
