As far as your swivel mount idea, you probably could. If you're concerned about the look with mine without the camera on it, I just take the whole mount off as it comes off in just seconds. I've thought about making a trigger system as well which would be pretty cool. Good luck with what you decide, and post what you come up with. P.S. I'm actually a Blackhawks fan! I use the Hero5 Session on my E-11. I use the GoPro velcro swivel arm mount, and it works great! The swivel allows me to take shots from any direction including selfies, etc. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I have the regular ANH TK. Yes, pictures don't do it justice and definitely needs to be out on display. Because of the price, my intention was to only have this piece, because it's an exact replica of the kit I wear, but I have since bought a couple of more much to the dismay of my pocketbook. I use a hard hat liner with the adjustable knob, but I don't have it glued in. Instead of gluing the pieces, I used Velcro with no problems. I did it this way not knowing if I would like it, but it turns out that I do, and the Velcro holds it fine, so I left it. I tried the pads briefly and didn't care for it.
