  1. Looks like they are back in stock. Better hurry! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This is a great thread. Definitely could be a cheaper option for sure with a little work. My questions 1. How has this held up since you've had it? Any repairs that you have had to perform? 2. I've looked, but didn't find Amsterdam boots on the CRL. Where does it say they are approved? 3. How comfortable are these during a longer troop? Thanks for all the help!
  3. Do you mind sending me a PM with prices and any website links?
  4. Yours looks to be coming together nicely. Keep up the good work!
  5. Agreed. AM is for your "bigger troopers". I'm 6'4", about 220 lbs., and a 38" waist. Another garrison member is finishing his AM build and IIRC, he is 6'3, and about the same measurements as me. Make sure to read up on the sizes that these armors fit before committing.
  6. I've heard pretty good things, and you can check out the following thread as well: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29164-imperial-boots/ For whatever reason, I've had a hard time getting him to respond by e-mail. I asked a question about sizes and took maybe half-day to get the measurements when he responded. Haven't got another response yet, but other than that, nothing but good things. Good luck!
  7. Patience is a virtue, or so they say. Good luck brother, and I look forward to your build thread soon.
  8. I just checked, not even an hour since you posted this, and it is already sold out. They go way to fast!
  9. Like many others here, I also received my big brown box today containing AM 2.0 armor. Communication with the seller was excellent and the box/armor pieces arrived in great condition. I'm really excited to get started. That big ol' brown box Quality shipping That's a lot of pieces Anyways, can't wait for all your feedback on my build. I'm attending a garrison event this weekend as a spotter or support staff, so I'm going to wait until after that to start my build as I still need some supplies and I want to get an in-person look at a completed set of armor. Cheers!
  10. Congrats. I will follow your build with great interest as my AM armor came today as well. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. By the way, where did you find the 1 inch foam padding? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm planning on buying my Husky container tomorrow. Is it safe to store in my garage in the container or will the heat from the box/garage/summer heat warp my ABS pieces? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Congrats, I will be watching your thread. My AM kit arrived today, so it sounds like a few of us will be building together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I got my tracking number today, super excited. I also asked, and he said this is the first run with updated pieces, including the chest, and that everything should be able to qualify for Centurion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Congrats! My AM kit should also be here by Tuesday, do we can all work on this together. Look forward to following your threads! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks everybody, this is exactly what I was look for. I'll be heading down to Home Depot for a Husky bin before my kit comes. Got to protect my investment! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Quick question for everyone - what do you use to store your armor at home/transport your armor to events? Since I just ordered my AM armor, I figure I might want to protect what will end up being an expensive set of armor. Any suggestions are appreciated.
  18. Your garrison members will be a good resource as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Congrats on getting your armor shipped. I'm a bit nervous as well about assembling my armor, but I'm confident that going to garrison events and getting a look at the armor up close along with help from other garrison members that it should turn out alright. Measure a million times before you cut.
  20. If I've read correctly, he is based in China. Depending on where you live, it might be a different time of the day. I contacted him through the Contact Us page and got a quick response, so give him a sec and I'm sure you'll hear back.
  21. I'm very excited to hear that the pieces have been updated. As my wife said, if I'm going to spend the money on making armor, I might as well go out and make it the best. I can't wait to get my armor and then try to get it to Centurion!
  22. This is good information. Makes me lean more towards the Hyperfirm so that kids can hold it during a troop. Because let's be honest, the kids are who this is really all about!
  23. Well, that's good to know. I'd like to make a Centurion level TK, but depending on how much it costs to switch out chest pieces, I may just settle for EIB.
  24. You guys have been a lot of help, thanks. I think for the time being I'm going to focus on getting approved as a TK and start trooping. Then if I decide to go the HWT route, I can pick your guys brain. There is also a garrison member in my area who might be able to help, so that will be a great resource.
