For belts and neckseals your best bet is to look right hear on the FISD for vendors. They are far superior to anything you'll find on ebay. For gloves check your local uniform and military surplus stores for nomex flight gloves. They are great for trooping, and really comfortable, but not as accurate as say the rubber chemical gloves they used in the movies.

We are aware of the problem with pics resizing, and the 4th post of every page goes beyond the skin limits. Keep the issues coming, they should all be ironed out this week.

Also blue painters tape is priceless for getting a straight cut lime.

Well your TX has mine beat, I still have some fine tuning to do. The only thing I'll have to talk to Paul about is the belt. TK EIBs use canvas, on my TX I used black duck cloth, and on yours it looks like black vinyl. Other than that you have a stellar kit, nice job.

You may have better luck asking that on the local boards. Detachments are pretty international, but you never know as stranger things have happened.

They are the darkside ebay boots turned black. Unfortunately no one makes jodhpurs large enough for me which would have been nice sine they are black to begin with.

It still needs a little tweaking and I ran out of black velcro before I could get the side gaps closed, but here is my TX. Man these things are hard to photograph, I have 2 500w lights on the side and 2 100w lights overhead plus the camera flash and still lightened it in Photoshop.

The MRCE is over sized a little and the OSCS ANH helmet is quite roomy.

Time to start trimming, remember it's better to take too little and redo it, than take too much.

You will need a couple tubes of E-6000 or whatever glue you choose. Also you need to become familiar with your local craft store like JoAnn's for some of the straps and snaps on the list.

That list is through, but some of it will depend on what type of plastic your kit is made of.

Just a heads up. All garrison GMLs, COs, and XOs, have access to a list of available ID numbers to assist new members. Also your list would have to be updated several times a week as new members are approved constantly. Thanks for showing great initiative.

And it's not even SDS armor. Biggest problem with the picture is that it's pre FISD, and in 2006 most everyone had FX kits.

Well for the record, when we disallowed FX helmets for EIB no one was grandfathered. On the flip side when we cleaned up the wording on the blaster details we never went back over all the EIB apps to see what everyone had.

Your EIB is approved. This proposed standard isn't up for a vote yet, and there is no reason to hold up EIB apps while other things are in the works.
