  1. Hello Troopers, I am having a problem with the straps that are holding my arms together. Whenever I wear it, it seems it fails at the shoulder Bell, and things start sliding downwards. I have Industrial strength Velcro. I wonder if it would be better to use that. Thanks for any input you guys have.
  2. It is strong enough to hold the floating shoulder straps. I hope someone has advice for the other part of the armor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I do see how they are a little off from each other though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You’ll use thin white elastic to tie them together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Excellent job on this. I did notice a typo under the ANH Stunt on the holster section. You spelled worn “wron”. Not that it is affecting to usefulness of your wonderful spreadsheet! I will probably print it out and hang it up for reference.
  6. I was just thinking about where to get the screws. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. My TK-ID is 42134. I was thinking of a number while I was building my armor, and thought “The first three digits of my log in at work is 421!” I added “34”, because it is a favorite number between some close friends and I.
  8. I got the "B". Ill modify it a bit.
  9. Did you get the "B" grade?
  10. If you have Facebook Messenger, that may be a better way to get a hold of them. I ordered mine twelve days ago. They said there was a ten to fourteen day turnaround time, so it should be close. Do they send you tracking information once its sent?
  11. It is an Anovos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'd like to thank Tony for all his help during my build, using the thread on FISD. He also kindly responded to question and concerns I had via messaging. Thank you so much Tony. I greatly appreciate it. Mark
  13. I happened to find Mike's TK build videos while searching YouTube for a visual reference on my first build. I am grateful that he has made them, as they helped me in spots where I was stuck, or needed confidence when I had none. They are very informative, and I probably would not be where I am at if it weren't for those videos, and help from friends and other Troopers in my area. I would like to commend him all the way from California, not having even met him. Although, I sent him a few emails to ask him some questions, and he kindly replied to each one. Thank you, Mike. Hopefully there will be a day that I can thank you in person. Best Regards, Mark
  14. I do have an older kit. I just realized that it does have the bottom screws on each ear. I'll have to start looking for a different screen though. Or go to Trooperbay. Thanks Brien.
  15. I am preparing to start work on taking my Anovos TK to EIB status. I was doing research to see if the helmet is EIB ready. I know I need to change the neck seal to the "S" type, and put screws in the bottom of the ears. I think all the decals are good. But my concern is the Mic tips. Are those good for EIB, or should they be changed out? Thanks in advance, Troopers.
  16. Who do we talk to? I love this idea!
  17. Is there an official 421 Club? Can we start one? That would be a cool patch. LOL
  18. Yes, it is surreal wearing it. My first troop is on September 9th. I’m a wee bit nervous to wear the armor in public for the first time. I just ordered my Hyperfirm blaster today, so it won’t be here before then. Maybe I’ll just be a handler.
  19. You are very welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I found it under the “Getting Started” https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. I’d look at the Armor Maker thread and go from there. I know Anovos doesn’t sell it by the sheet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. This is the one I found, but there are others: https://www.interstateplastics.com/ABS-sheets-rods-cp47.php?withinsite=1&searchtext=Abs Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Google “ABS Plastic Sheets”, and you’ll find something. I found one company (can’t remember the name) that sells it in different thicknesses. Or you can contact different armor makers to see if they have sheets you can buy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. I emailed him a few weeks ago about aquiring armor. Like you, I am 6’2”. I haven’t heard from him yet. After reading this, I’ll just keep checking my email.
  25. I’m glad I read this. I am getting ready for my first troop, on September 9th. I’m getting Mynocks in my stomach thinking about it, but I am so stoked. I asked to be a handler because I’d like to see how Troops interact with the public, and get an idea of what that is like. I don’t have a blaster yet, but I was told that someone would most likely have a blaster I can borrow if I do decide to suit up. “Troopers Helping Troopers”! Thanks for this information.
