  1. The parts you should trim can also be seen in the "action poses" in the 2nd and 3rd to last pictures. Pretty much the unweathered parts.
  2. The areas outlined in red are what I feel are the areas that need to be trimmed a bit more... Compare it to your original picture if my resolution turned to crap during saving editing and reuploading.
  3. Would you refer to an orange pauldron Sandtrooper as Sandtrooper commander? Or a white pauldron as a Sandtrooper captain? Or even a regular Sandtrooper as a Stormtrooper commander? Just some food for thought.
  4. Maybe call it a Kashyyyk Shock Trooper. Since it looks like there are many of them in one location as opposed to only one TKC per squad.
  5. A warning if you rely on that masking method the paint might bleed every where.
  6. Its durable but the helmets stated above look better.
  7. Thats a beautiful helmet. A little note though, the tube stripes are on the wrong sides.
  8. Use a modeling iron to slowly (and VERY CAREFULLY) heat and depress it.
  9. That looks like it's already in Hero configuration. Bubble lenses and 4 teeth. Only thing I can't make out are the ears.
  10. I really think the only reason the TKC and INC in the screenshots are wielding lightsabers is because it's the maincharacter in a different skin. You can also be Jango Fett and other bounty hunters and "skins" that are wielding lightsabers. Does that mean that Jango Fett should wield a light saber as well?
  11. You can get better looking more accurate kits. Personally I would leave it on the shelf.
  12. Do you mean like gauge wise? .080 is the usual thickness I believe. I think that translates to 2mm. Of course that is before it is cooked and stretched over the mold.
  13. Sketch what you want the frown to look like with a pencil, then paint it.
  14. What if it was really cast from a fan replica bucket? Like a GINO or something, wouldn't that be crazy?
  15. A few of them yes. The one 3rd from the top looks quite a bit angrier than the other ones though.
  16. I think Smitty hit the nail on the head with this one. Here are some pictures to illustrate what I'm talking about. If I've used your picture please don't think I'm poking fun at your helmet or critiquing it negatively. It's just a preference on how I like my frowns. (I like 'em how I like my women.)
  17. I've been looking at several different makes of helmets and the different ways that people have painted the frown, and lots of them look like they're smiling or kind of happy. If any of you know what I'm talking about, are there any ways to avoid this look and get a really mean looking frown?
  18. Did you make a separate set of untouched molds before you did the modifications?
