  1. I´ve tried helpdesk with another problem 2 months ago with no reaction. Then I don´t think it will solve something.
  2. No reaction?
  3. Yeah I was interested too on this FX reshape. I think I will have faster own reshaped FX armor, than see some progress on FX/GT. When new Movie FX isn´t actualy FX anymore. FX has bad shapes, but if you start reshape it, you need leave some dimensions to easy replace old parts with new one. As I did here: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=4841
  4. Yeah right, I forgot, that we don´t use ligatures unlike Poles. We used them before, but it is many decades ago.
  5. Not bad bucket. Welcome on FISD Dan. Btw you surname sound more Czech or Slovak, than German
  6. Yeah. But I have same experience. May be bad batch, it was much lighter when dry, than color on can lid. I though for a first time, that I only didn´t mixed it enought. But not, same result. I bought another can, few weeks after, but no time to check this second can.
  7. Easy crack isn´t right word. HPS/HIPS is a bit different material than ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), but as you can see there is styrene in ABS too. But ABS contains some rubber, then it is more durable and it makes not that sharp pulls than HPS/HIPS. This is true, it even smells different, when you work with it. But generally sharp pulls are sometimes more depended on molds, heating of plastic and power of vacumpump, than used plastic. ABS is still a bit expensive than HPS. You can crack ABS too, it is on you, how you will use it and on armor are specific parts, that crack the most often (belt, shoulder straps), you can have spare parts or use them not as supporting part. And use canvas belt and velcro straps on shoulders. You still have to think, it is costume not real armor. Then you should know, what you can do in it and what not. If you don´t have source of cheap spare parts.
  8. Helmet looks a bit as FX, it is symetrical, but it can be recast. There are missing borders around eyes and they are too far from itself. But cap and face has typical FX angle. Same as helmet padding, typical for FX kits.
  9. If you want have FX armor assembled durable for trooping it isn´t really that simple. Yeah, you can use only velcro, but this is really bad solution for trooping.
  10. It looks like 501st scheme, but helmet is something between TK and E-III Clone. Armor looks like some hybrid too.
  11. I just have some troubles with this section. When I click on "view new post" I can see only new post this day, if I want see new posts from yesterday I have to change "Get active topics for: this week". When I do it, I get error message "Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control. Please wait at least 20 seconds before trying again.". Because it is too fast to click again. When new messages are generated with search engine. Can´t be possible reconfigure this search to find all topic with unreaded replies this week? Cos now it shows topic that you readed this day too.
  12. For comparison how much is AP stun helmet asymetrical. Here is drawing of shape from part of helmet, where are visible left and right side of helmet. Difference in the widest part i 10 mm. This line inside is interpolation of both.
  13. Sometimes. I´m glad, that I like more idealized symetrical helmet, that should look perfect.
  14. Old part is on top. Match with chest armor.
  15. New part is on the right.
  16. When I looked at our mold of this part based on dimensions of german Movie FX armor and compared it with chest armor. I decided modify this mold to have better part. When you look at them from front side, you will see, they have different scarf on bottom. Back part is visible wider. I use hybrid molds with wood core and resin cover. Then I had cut out parts of mold, then sand to needed shape, cover it with resin and sand to final shape. Here are few photos. Just now, I´m not going more modify this mold, because it will not fit chest armor. But when I make new chest armor, based on TM dimensions but a bit bigger in FX size, then I make new mold for this shoulder armor, that will match this new chest armor and be more accurate, but in FX size.
  17. If you will have money to create molds for complete resin/fibreglass armor, then you have money for TK kit
  18. I use something similar to dremel, but you have to make some breaks between using it, then this rivet will be not that hot and don´t melt plastic.
  19. We will see, what will be official reaction of Legion. If this "costume" will be approved and what modifications will be needed.
  20. AA/SDS isn´t only one armor creator on world and I believe, that his armor can use replacements from TE/TE2, AP, TM kits. If you need symetrical parts, buy both to be sure, they match.
  21. My test neckseal is from black cotton T-shirt (price 3$ in Globus, from size "L" T-shirt you can have two neckseals), small part of 2 mm thick foam (I bought 2x1m for 3$), then 10 cm of black velcro fastener and then told my mom, what I need to do. I´m not skilled with sewing machine yet
  22. But it will be a bit long waiting. I thinking about two sizes. Movie size and a bit bigger for guys with bigger melon. When I will have something to show, I will make new topic about it
  23. Thanks for it. But just now, I don't have time and money to start work on own CNC. May be later in future. Just now I'm working on 3D mesh of new TK helmet based on dimensions of AP helmet to make molds and replace our FX buckets. It should be more symetrical and detailed, but with correct size and proportion.
  24. As programmer, 3D Artist and propmaker I found this link very interesting.
