  1. Thet ears should be the same location on both sides. You will not, nor should you, have a perfect seal between the ears and the bucket. Here are my MTK bucket build pics for ref . Hope this helps
  2. Does the putty adhere to the bucket or did you have to glue it to the plastic? Thanks for the recommendation. Looks awesome
  3. Need some help with my lenses. I used trooperbays tutorial but it gouges the bridge of my nose at times. How did the above pics mount the lenses separately instead of one full piece. Any help is appreciated
  4. You are using your bucket....always good to take step back. I built my MTK bucket in December and worked on it slowly till February or March. Overall, it's an awesome bucket and pretty easy to build.......except those blasted ears.....ugh. Good luck on your build
  5. Congrats Josh. Well done on your build !!!
  6. Great issue !!! Amazing job Tim !!!
  7. Good Luck Chris. Great job on your build. Soon, those pesky Ewoks will be rugs in the Death Star ( the new secret one no one knows about)
  8. Damn. Those shoulder bells look like they got squeezed in a press
  9. The rear of the biceps are interchangable as are the shoulder bells. These are the only 2 pieces that are. The gloves are fine
  10. Welcome to the AM 2.0 club. There is a lot of goodies in that box. I opened and closed it for 2 weeks until I felt comfortable to make my first cut which was the biceps and forearms. Once you make the first cut, all the nervousness goes away and the excitement begins. Research and learn the CRL as that is what you will either be approved or deferred on and ask questions. No one will steer you wrong and there are plenty of experts that will help. Good luck and looking forward to watching this build
  11. Shoulders look much better. Your almost there bro. Keep going
  12. Did you glue the backs of your shins? It looks like they open toward the outside of your leg. They should open toward the inside if your leg
  13. I have the same tote and fit everything in it. I also lined it with egg crate
  14. Your biceps are rotated out. They need to be facing toward your torso The joint should be facing forward when your arms are down. This will cause the shoulder bells and the biceps ridges to marry up and fit together. You can also rotate your forearms so the joint is also facing forward when your arms are down. Hope this makes sense. You may also want to shorten the shoulder bell straps to the shoulder bridges to bring the bells in more. Just some little things I see but your moving along nicely and will be hunting ewok's shortly
  15. Congrats TK-10504 !! Great job on your build and congrats on your approval. Welcome aboard trooper
  16. Your in the home stretch now. Do you have your shoulder bells on?
  17. Omar, reference the CRL regarding what you need for approval. http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL Review this as this is what you will be either approved or deferred on. I don't want to be a downer but this maker is horrible at this bucket and armor. There have been members who have successfully modified Rubie's stuff and got approved though. Research the build threads here to find them to see what they did. Everything you need you can find on the boards you may also want to join your local Garrison as they may help you as well.
  18. This build should be pinned for future TK builds to reference. Amazing job on documenting and I swear you make it look simple. WELL DONE !!
  19. Great job everyone
  20. Your CRL has the clips between 1/2 and 3/4 in width. I used bankers clasps off the internet and cut them. I believe evil boy here on the FISD sells them as well.
  21. Well done on the snaps. That should take care of the failing problem you had with velco
