----------- With my bucket on, I can't reach into my bucket to turn on my helmet fan. I placed the switch in front between the hovi tips. The only way is to turn on the fan before I put on the bucket. Because, I can't bend my arms that far to be able to reach into my bucket while wearing it.
Is that the same for everyone else here?

Hi john. I can power on/off the fans in my helmet since I have the switch positioned on the side of my helmet. im not able to upload pictures but I copied the link on top so you can see how I have it set up. PM me if you have any questions

Help for installing fan in Helmet
Sd-Stormtrooper replied to Tibo's topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
Placement of the fans does matter, I have 2 sets of fans depending on what batteries I want to use or how strong the air flow I want. right now im using (2) 5v fans with on off rocker switch powered by a 9v battery and I have them positioned to blow air to the front of the helmet and since im using a throat mic it does not affect me at all. for some reason I cant upload pictures here( or still cant figure out how) but heres the links so you can see the fans and how they are set -------------- -

here is how I have my fan kits,, I initially had a 5v fan with a on off rocker switch connected to a 4xaa battery holder and it worked well since I used rechargeable aa batteries. now im using(2) 5v batteries with on off mini rocker switch connected to a 9v.. I always have problems uploading pictures but here's the links so you can see them ----------- -
WANTED: Cheap option for helmet fans
Sd-Stormtrooper replied to =Sv3='s topic in Electronics for Helmets / Blasters
Hi Matt i initially thought of using that but it seems easier to power the fan by a on off rocker switch http://www.ebay.com/itm/181934453731this is a link so you can see pictures of my fan kits
