  1. If you're only painting the frown tips the umbrol #5 Dark Admiralty Grey, or Testors #1138 as mentioned is extremely close to the Anovos. Neither Sly or myself will be dragging out a color swatches or ask for paint codes during approvals
  2. If there's no overspray then there's no need to repaint the entire frown however, for Centurion you will need to paint the tip of the frown as discussed above.
  3. Hey Blayne, Sly or myself will be with your shortly, thank you for your patience
  4. Hey Allan let's get to it shall we. Thank you for your patience and your EIB application CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All photos are present and your armor represents all necessary elements to qualify for EIB. With that we'd like to congratulate and welcome you to Expert Infantry! Great job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we will discuss observations made by your fellow troopers as well as ourselves. These may contain suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Alright we have a few areas that need some TLC, none of which will effect your EIB application. Centurion Suggestions: Starting with the top and working our way down. The return edge around the eyes. As mentioned by your fellow troopers we would like to see that trimmed down a bit. As for your frown we're requesting the lower corner be added. We didn't see any overspray in your pictures so repainting the entire frown won't be necessary at this time. Reference photo The back to kidney gap is a bit excessive. CRL states little to no gap. Your height and the Anovos armor will be in constant battle with each other due to the armor design. As you fellow troopers suggested tightening up the strapping between the two should help resolve this. Reference photo This goes for the kidney to posterior, Ab to kidney gap, as well as the right bicep to forearm. Reference photos Also mentioned by your troop mates trimming down thigh cover strip may help prevent severing an artery during a troop lol Another suggestion, given your height you can probably get away with dropping your thighs down a bit spacing out the gaps between armor sections. As for the Thermal Detonator. Though it's not an actual requirement at any level we do prefer to see pan head slotted screws, and painted black. The thermal detonator of the PVC tube is screen accurate. Some reading this will have seen my build thread where I painted mine. My build also states painting it is not a requirement but an option. Again, welcome to the EI ranks
  5. Alright Ben, thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted. Thank you for making all the requested repairs mentioned at EIB and updating your submission pictures to showing the repairs. Sly and myself would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion. That's a beautiful set of armor you have there. Excellent job Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section Sly or myself may suggest corrections to make your armor look it's best. And we have nothing to add
  6. That's easy, using a gas torch heat it up and bend it back into shape. Your iron worker friend should be able to pull that off easy. If not bring it to my place and I'll fix it.
  7. Alright Brandon, thank you for your patience and for applying to Centurion CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted. Thank you for making all the requested repairs and updating your submission pictures. After careful review Sly and myself would like to formerly welcome you to Centurion, in addition we'd also like to congratulate you as having first ANOVOS armor at the Centurion level. Excellent work on your build Brandon. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section Sly or myself may suggest corrections to make your armor look it's best. At Centurion we strive for accuracy and there's an area you could enhance to make your armor even more accurate. Anovos uses pan head screws to secure the ears to the helmet instead of screen accurate "V" head. Replacing those would add that extra touch
  8. Can you press or drill out the rivets
  9. No. and the frown doesn't have to be repainted, just painted correctly. The object is to remove the over spray. If you can accomplish this without effecting the rest of the frown then no worries. Again, as a reminder to everyone, at Centurion we will require the lower section frown to be painted. The area where it extends past the last tooth. We're already seeing applications where it not. Please paint the area so you're not ask you Many thanks from your friendly DOs.
  10. OOOOHHHHH YEAAAA!
  11. Man I must have bought the bargain basement version, that's awesome. Looks like I may be buying another. sell off my old one
  12. I agree, too bad he doesn't produce but a handful a year. Wanted to add his unit to my sales but he wouldn't make them in mass quantities not to mention he's hard to reach at times. Other than that they're awesome
  13. I like it because of the compactness and being able to modify it to suit my needs. $260 for a board the size of two fingers EH! If you can afford it yes.
  14. I guess that's one way to sell something Contact me here for sales info - http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31436-fs-ukswraths-hovi-mic-tips-with-speakers-crl-accurate-tips

  17. Now. Also, it's easier to build it to Centurion now then later.
  18. Oh yea I don't envy you desert folks. I'm kinda used to the undersuit but I also pick and choose whether or not to submit my self to tortuous heat. I have two undersuits from this manufacturer. They're actually pretty cool IMO. Again, hats off your you guys in LV
