  1. It's nice to see some things never change :L Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  2. I am very much the same. Like you I can get along fine with people but when in armour I do sort of come to life a bit more, talking to and interacting with fellow costumers and members of the public more. Especially when i don my bucket then no body knows me which makes it fun. Although 501st has a strict rule that we must keep our buckets on for an entire event, which I don't like that much because it really does limit how much you can talk and socialise with people. But at the same time This rule make sense and has it's advantages. But yeah, I love interacting with people while in costume!
  3. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Yea when I redo them it will just be a matter of trimming and sanding them down. I notice a lot of people's strips contour with the flow of the armour at the edges Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks, Yea i wanted to wait until i get some proper paint. Also need some nice latex gloves!
  6. I have a bit of tweaking to do such as replace the internal rigging. For now I am using the Anovos system as it allows me to play around with it a bit to see what fits right and it holds up fine. I also intend on re-gluing some of the cover strips and such to make them tighter. Another future change i want to make is a new, sturdier belt definitely. But for now I can say it is finished and my first troop will be in the Belfast St. Patrick's day parade!

  9. Ok so most people seem to be doing this. Removing two of the screws and covering the holes with some material from the back of the belt. Makes sense. Now I was wondering why it couldn't it be acceptable to just cover up the screws holess with the screws inserted so that I still have the strength of 4 screws but two are hidden. I'm not going to challenge the CRL on this but I have seen someone who used two screws on their anovos belt and the weight of it tore the belt at the holes. <br />I mean as long as it's hidden. Same way the internal rigging if the suit is different for many people but it's fine because it's hidden. For now I suppose I'll have to role with 2 screws :L Which method for covering these holes anyway? Glue or sewn? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  10. Did customs keep your package long while they sent your our VAT invoice? That's what I'm worried about Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. Can anyone tell me how reliable or strong the Velcro/hook and loop parts are? Most people are using the strap method but I'm curious how the anovos' method works. It's not all going to come loose and fall apart after an hour of trooping? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. In regards to those waiting on international shipping to begin, I just received tracking information/shipping label being made from FedEx. Its being sent to Northern Ireland in the Uk. A very optimist estimated delivery of Feb 4th which I won't get my hopes up for. I ordered on May 4th at 20 minutes til midnight. Looks like anovos' expected shipment dates were miscalculated again! This time it's earlier Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. Most seem to be using their own snap methods but I'm curious to see how their method works out. I'll probably do their hook and loop method then most likely switch over time to the proper snap method. I payed for that hook n loop ima use it. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. Is the Anovos' brough trim glued on real strong or can it be adjusted?
  15. This looks like it may be worth the $200+ for delivery and import tax! I have a feeling we will be taking our hats off to Anovos when we see a fully finished suit.
