Well not sure this will help you but I have both buckets and I found the Novus 2 polish really made a difference in the visibility of my lens. About 20 minutes of deep polishing cleaned up some pretty bad distortion. Wasn't perfect but at least now I can troop without getting dizzy Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Something else to consider is they may be bound by an NDA to keep their mouths shut regarding where they acquired their specs. -

What armor is exactly like screen accurate, no fan sculpt involved, like for like? edit: Hasn't been mix matched either -

So would it be fair to say that technically all armor is essentially a mutt, some obviously being more accurate than others? -
I first thought about using aluminum but realized 2mm abs is pretty strong, light and pliable. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Yea, the 1/2" rules doesn't always apply. More or less a reference to give yourself some room,

Because that would make too much sense . It's easier and more dramatic to conjure up conspiracy theories then to except that maybe Disney and Anovos had advance 3d scanning tools and access to nothing but the finest TK armor LFL had to offer to a company that just paid billions for the rights. Heaven forbid if they also included that as part of the purchasing agreement. -

Welcome Jesse, thank you for your patience and EIB application. . CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. Thank you for making suggested repairs and adding required photos. With that Sly and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry. Excellent work. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we discuss suggestions that your fellow troopers, sly or myself have to make you armor look its best. We have a couple areas to discuss here. 1) We like the shoulder bells a bit closer to the chest and the forearms closer to the elbow. Reference pictures 2) Butt plate need to come down and in. It should reside below the kidney. Reference picture Centurion Suggestions: In this section we try to prepare you if you decide to shoot for Centurion. Suggestions and requirements may be mentioned. Thermal detonator screws and Clips. Though not a requirement parse, accurate TD clip screws are pan head, slot screws. We also would like to see you straighten the TD clips a bit. The bends made by Anovos are a bit excessive Reference picture Great job Jesse, hope to see you at Centurion -

I stated the 1/2" rule earlier in my build. Basically meaning, if possible give yourself approximately 1/2" of room between yourself and your armor. This obviously won't work for everyone but it's a good rule to follow for fitment if at all possible.

1/2" rule

Yes but there's command staff reviews, which by the way have just concluded. We should have some new shortly, sorry for the delay folks.

I understand that, but whatever control LFL had over that is quickly fading into the sunset. We now MTK, WTF & Anovos. Recast is recast, be it the first or the last. Some are much better than others I'll agree but I think the train has left the LFL station and it isn't coming back. -

In my line of work, if it's not OEM it's recast. Wouldn't that make all armor recast unless it came from the original mold? Aren't the different armors are just variations of recast?
