Alright, so the only concern we have is the ab to kidney gap which is excessive according to the CRL. This will need to be remedied before we can proceed with your application. Tightening the connection straps in the area should resolve the issue. Please post an updated photo when ready. You can do this Roy, almost there For level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Reference photo We'll be here when you're ready.

No one has the new version yet I'm aware of so there's only speculation regarding the differences. I suspect the major reason for the price drop is because it comes with the injection molded helmet instead of the premium line painted fiberglass, no soft goods, and I would imagine the manufacturing process has been refined.

Awesome job Shaun Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section if we had further comments or suggestions regarding armor appearance we would make note of it here. If we could add anything it would be that you maybe secure your drop box straps. They should always remain aligned with the outer edge of your waist ammo belt. Some of your photos show them in the correct position, others they're off. Also, it might be a good idea to trim off some cover strip material at the back of your calves, they look a bit long and my eventually get caught on something, and finally maybe use some stitching glue to secure the hand guard threading, they appear to be unraveling a bit.
