Hey Eric welcome. We have plenty baseline beginners here with various living situations. With perseverance and hard work you should have no problems assembling the armor to the highest level. I won't lie to you, it may take some time and $ but it is achievable. Hope this helps

Sorry for the delay. Thanks for the kudos. If I understand your question correctly the answer would be the elastic (seen the previous post) is glued to the inside of the outside shin section. The inside has corresponding holes that the hooks connect to. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/?p=470387

Hey Ron welcome to the FISD. Both Marc and Randy have some great suggestions. When test fitting your armor use a under suit for better accuracy. As Marc mentioned the return edges that run vertical, should almost fit under the outer cover strips however, this also depends on the size of your arms. Either way is acceptable at all levels of approval. That being said if your arms flop around inside the armor your might want to consider reducing the armor size as mentioned. Scratches, what scratches? We call that battle worn lol. As Randy mentioned Novis polish 2 really works well to remove smaller scratches and gloss out the ABS. Keep up the good work

The 'yellow' trooper renovation -WIP

Beautiful job Dan -
Not a good idea, especially in temps over 80deg. Outside 80, inside 100+. Depending on the armor type it may begin to soften. If the're any areas under pressure = instant dent. Not to mention if thieves see anything worth busting into your car for. Hope this helps

Yea not really sure where the line in the sand will be drawn. There may be unhappy peeps either way. As Dutchy stated in the end it's for the Empire anyways.

The Official 2017 What is a Heavy Weapons Trooper Thread
ukswrath replied to Daetrin's topic in Heavy Weapons Trooper
Excellent idea! -
I for one don't want to see it go anywhere. As much as I love the MEPD and some of the folks over there, it's a graveyard compared to the FISD lol
-
I stand corrected however, over the last couple years I've spoken to a few SWAT level TDs, they didn't want the HWT for several reasons, #1 being it's from a game and not OTTK worthy. We gave it a new life, it gains in popularity and now the MEPD wants it back? lol
-
Hey Dutchy, as a fellow TD I understand wanting to having every dirty packed trooper in the MEPD however, as you know not all TDs have packs. What I'm personally trying to decide here is what is the defining factor between the TD and TK? I've always thought it was the dirt, then along came the HWT which the MEPD was well, technically embarrassed of so handed it over to the FISD who gave it some love, and now it's exploding. Now we have several combinations of troopers in one movie alone. We clearly have clean and dirt or dirty sand laden backpack versions. Then we have versions with just pauldrons, just like on Tatooine. What's even more confusing is the guy in the prison transport for example who looks like their covered in grease, not dirt. Who or what goes where?

Feedback before expert submission
ukswrath replied to Tisco2k's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Looks great. I'd say post it. If Sly or myself have any concern we'll address them there. That being said, we generally like to see zero gap between the shoulder bells and covers. -
Looking good, do you have a front photo?
-
IMHO the R1 Sandtrooper/Jeddha Trooper should be with the MEPD, it's right up their alley. They've already barked about taking back the HWT, I don't want to give them any more reasons to force more changes.

Anytime, that's what were here for

Hey Seth, I did as you said, installed the armor then had someone draw a line on the yoke directly over the center of my shoulder. From there I made my measurements and cuts as seen here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31877-ukswraths-fotk-build-thread-tk-10116/page-14#entry442849

So I recently received my Praetorian E-11. Instead of posting another review I thought I'd just add to Paul's, hope you don't mind boss. When I first unboxed this thing I was completely blown away with the attention to detail, absolutely amazing. I purchased it fully loaded with weathering to see how it would look all done up. I couldn't stop staring at the thing. I mean I stared at it for a good 10 minutes just admiring all the detail. To this day I still pull on the "D" ring to see if it will flip up or click the safety off and on, IT LOOKS THAT REAL! The spring in the barrel is crazy realistic looking. Then it dawned on me how light it was. Except for my 3D printed guns this is by far the lightest of its size in my arsenal, even lighter than the other guys high quality rubber blaster. Afterwards I purposely started banging it against the plastic arm rest on an old office chair to see if it would take a beating lol. Probably not the proper thing to do but hey, I wanted to see if the rubber and the attached components could handle what I would soon do to it. Not a scratch or dent. Don't get me wrong, anything can be damaged if abused however, this thing took a beating . Back to the detail, from the black Plexiglas inlay used to simulate the front and rear glass scope lens to the MFG part or serial numbers on a few key components this blaster is legit. I took it with me to a garrison BBQ held this weekend and every TK wearing member was drooling over this thing. It actually got to the point we were taking bets that everyone that took a look at it would eventually start prying on the "D" ring as I did lol. In closing, I didn't pull out a ruler to check dimensional specs or anything but I have to say this is by far one of the nicest E-11 prop I've ever held. Well worth every cent IMHO.
