  1. Excellent news Matthew. Welcome to the 501st family.
  2. Hey Tan still waiting for those additional photos required before we can get started.
  3. Hey Antonio welcome back and thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Very nice work your build Andrew and I would like to say your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. Congratulations and welcome to Centurion Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Centurion is the ultimate level of accuracy and appearance. In this section we mention areas that could still use some TLC. As mentioned during your EIB application the following area still needs adjusting to further enhance the overall appearance of your armor. Shoulder bell gap, there should be minimal gap here. It is possible the bells are just too small for your body type. We suggest replacing them with larger bells if further adjustments do not help. Reference photo That's it, time to head out and make the Empire proud, congratulations again
  4. Hey Jeff welcome back and thank you for your Centurion application. As mentioned during your EIB application the following areas need adjusting to further enhance the overall appearance of your armor. 1) Arm gaps inconsistent. There should be roughly 1/2 gap between biceps and forearms but most importantly a consistency between all the areas illustrated below. Reference photo 2) Back to Kidney gap. There should be minimal gap her as mentioned by Glen Reference photo That's it, time to head out and make the Empire and your garrison proud
  5. Hey Tan still waiting for some photos before we can get started.
  6. Keyword here, uniformity. That's what most GMLs look for. Here's my advice, align your armor as seen below. Side seams need to aim directly to the side. Front and rear cover strips need to aim directly front or back and be in line with armor above and/or below. Hope this make sense. Whomever you're having take your photos needs to be aware of alignment and what your armor should look like so your photos are correct.
  7. Good pair of wire cutters maybe
  8. Odd looking rivets
  9. Looking good
  10. Stellar, don't forget to remove all the return edge on the wrist side of your forearms.
  11. Welcome to the family
  12. Definitely possible though this issue is nothing new. The extent of the warping is what concerns me. Possible change in Anovos plastic? Who knows

  14. Good thing there's plenty of armor or other people to help. Buy another kit to build and/or leave a post on your garrison's page to help build for others in your area. Volunteer at build parties, etc, etc. THT
  15. Hey Joe Andrew or myself will be with your shortly. While you wait please post the following photo/s Forearms (wrist side) Thigh ammo belt connection detail Thank you
  16. Minor gap. Overall it looks just fine
  17. Alright Andrew let's get you approved. Welcome and thank you for your EIB application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Thank you for fixing the side shims as requested. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Beautiful job on your build sir Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. We have a couple minor suggestions to mention here. Areas to work on to enhance the overall accuracy and look of your armor. Starting at the top and working our way down 1) The lower ears appear to be a bit thick. It's not a deal breaker but worth mentioning. Reference photo 2) The shoulder bells should be closer to the chest and back plates. Tighten the straps and or removing additional lower return edge should bring them closer. Reference photo 3) Shoulder cover on the right side is underneath the back plate. We're sure this is a simple photo issue and we're suggesting you correctly position on top of the back plate. Reference photo 4) Vertical Ab button surface should be smaller than the raised area it's glued to. Giving the edges a trim should do the trick. Reference photo 5) There should be little to no gap between the back and kidney plates. This could be a simple strapping adjustment fix. Reference photo 6) Next up it looks like your sniper knee corner is sticking out a bit, risking getting snagged on something. We're suggesting you trim this back a bit. See reference photo Reference photo 7) We have a couple issues with the Thermal detonator. First the ends of the clips should reside just below the control panel and lastly the mounting screws should be pan head and slotted. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. From what we can see, the only item that stands out is your drop box positioning. They should be aligned with the outer most edge of the ammo belt and just below it with little to no gap. Gluing the drop box strap to the cloth belt should help keep them in place. For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference photo Lastly there can only be one seam between the Ab and Kidney as per the CRL. For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. A single visible seam line is present. Before applying for Centurion you'll have to permanently fix your side shims and conceal the connection seam so that only one seam is present. Reference photo That's it, congratulations on a great build . We hope to see you next year at Centurion.
  18. Whatever floats your boat brother. It won't effect any level of accuracy.
  19. Guess it's just a matter of opinion. As I said before, it wasn't a deal breaker where the edge was either.
  20. Love your drive for accuracy
